2. Safety Information

• Always ensure the canopy is properly anchored to prevent wind damage. Use all provided stakes and guy ropes.
• Do not use the canopy in severe weather conditions, including heavy rain, strong winds, or lightning.
• Keep all flame and heat sources away from the canopy fabric. The fabric is flame-resistant (CPAI-84) but not fireproof.
• Ensure proper setup and adjust height as needed. Be cautious when handling canopy fabric due to its water-resistant and flame-resistant properties.
• Avoid pinching fingers or hands during assembly and disassembly by using the soft, pinch-free buttons.

4. Setup Instructions

The CROWN SHADES canopy features a patented one-push center lock technology for quick and easy setup. While designed for two people, it can be set up by one person with careful attention to the steps.

1. Unfold the Frame: Place the folded frame in your desired location. Gently pull the outer legs apart to begin expanding the frame.
2. Attach Canopy Top: Before fully extending the frame, drape the canopy top fabric over the partially opened frame. Ensure the fabric is evenly distributed over all four corners.
3. Engage Center Lock: Step inside the canopy frame. Locate the central hub. With one small push upwards on the central hub, it will lock all four legs in place. This patented Centerlok technology secures the canopy quickly.
4. Extend Legs: Press the soft, pinch-free buttons on each leg and extend them to your desired height. There are three adjustable height settings.
5. Attach Sidewall (Optional): If using the sidewall, hang the hooks from the canopy truss and attach the Velcro straps to the leg above the slider for a secure fit. The sidewall includes organizer pockets for convenience.
6. Secure the Canopy: Fill the provided sandbags with sand and attach them to the canopy legs. Use the guy ropes and stakes to anchor the canopy firmly to the ground, especially in windy conditions.

5. Operating the Canopy

Your CROWN SHADES canopy is designed for versatile outdoor use, providing shade and shelter with ease.

• Adjusting Height: Use the red push buttons on each leg to adjust the canopy to one of three available height settings. Ensure all legs are adjusted to the same height for stability.
• Sidewall Use: The included 150D sidewall can be attached to any side of the canopy to block sunlight, provide privacy, or offer additional protection from wind. The integrated organizer pockets are useful for storing small items.
• Air Circulation: The canopy features integrated air vents to prevent wind lift and allow hot air to escape, ensuring a cooler and more comfortable environment underneath.

6. Maintenance

Proper care will extend the life of your CROWN SHADES canopy:

• Cleaning: Clean the canopy fabric with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before storage.
• Frame Care: Inspect the steel frame regularly for any signs of rust or damage. Clean any dirt or debris from the frame and lubricate moving parts as needed.
• Fabric Repair: Use the provided repair patch for small tears or punctures in the canopy fabric.

1. Disassembly: Lower the legs to their shortest setting. Release the central lock by pushing the button on the central hub. Gently push the frame inwards from all sides until it is fully collapsed.
2. Packing: The canopy can be stored with the fabric attached to the frame. Fold the fabric neatly around the collapsed frame.
3. Using the Carry Bag: Slide the collapsed canopy into the durable cover bag. The bag features integrated wheels, allowing you to easily roll the canopy to your vehicle or storage area. A specialized pocket is included for the sidewall, sandbags, stakes, and guy ropes.

8. Troubleshooting

• Canopy not opening/closing smoothly: Ensure all locking mechanisms are disengaged before attempting to open or close. Check for any obstructions in the frame. Lubricate moving parts if necessary.
• Water pooling on canopy top: The upgraded high peak design helps rainwater run off. Ensure the canopy is fully extended and taut. In heavy rain, periodically push up on the underside of the canopy to release accumulated water.
• Canopy unstable in wind: Always use the provided sandbags, stakes, and guy ropes to secure the canopy. Do not use in excessively windy conditions.
