2.2 Camera Components

- Integrated Solar Panel: Charges the internal battery using sunlight.

3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Charging the Camera
Before initial use, fully charge the camera's internal battery using the provided USB cable. Connect the USB cable to the camera's charging port and a standard 5V USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator light will show the charging status.
3.2 App Download and Account Creation
Download the official ANRAN app from your smartphone's app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store). Follow the on-screen instructions to create an account and log in.
3.3 Camera Pairing with App
- Open the ANRAN app and tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
- Select your camera model from the list.
- Follow the app's prompts to power on the camera and reset it if necessary.
- Connect your smartphone to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The camera only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
- Scan the QR code displayed on your phone screen with the camera lens. Hold the phone approximately 15-20 cm (6-8 inches) from the camera.
- Once connected, the camera will indicate successful pairing, and you can name your device within the app.
3.4 Mounting the Camera
Choose a suitable location for installation. Ensure the area receives adequate sunlight for the solar panel and is within range of your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The camera is designed for outdoor use and can be wall-mounted.

- Use the provided mounting template sticker to mark the drill holes on the wall.
- Drill holes using a 6mm drill bit.
- Insert the wall plugs into the drilled holes.
- Attach the mounting bracket to the wall using the screws.
- Secure the camera onto the mounting bracket. Adjust the angle for optimal viewing and solar panel exposure.

4. Operating the Camera
4.1 Live View and Remote Control
Once connected, you can access the live video feed from your camera anytime, anywhere via the ANRAN app. The app allows for remote control and monitoring of your designated area.

4.2 2K Crisp Image and Dual Night Modes
The ANRAN C3 captures video in 2K (3MP, 2048 x 1536) resolution, providing clear and detailed images. It offers two night vision modes:
- Black and White Night Vision: Standard infrared night vision.
- Color Night Vision: Activated by the built-in spotlight, providing full-color video even in low-light conditions.

4.3 PIR Motion Detection and Smart Siren
The camera features a PIR (Passive Infrared) motion detection sensor that accurately detects human-like movement. When motion is detected, the camera will:
- Automatically activate the built-in spotlight.
- Trigger the siren (if enabled in settings).
- Send instant notifications to your smartphone via the app.
- Begin recording the event.
You can adjust the detection sensitivity within the app to minimize false alerts.

4.4 Two-Way Audio
The camera is equipped with a built-in microphone and speaker, enabling real-time two-way audio communication. Use this feature to:
- Communicate with visitors at your door.
- Warn off intruders.
- Interact with family members or pets within the camera's view.
4.5 Storage Options
The ANRAN C3 supports local storage via a microSD card (not included) for recorded events. Alternatively, cloud storage subscription options may be available through the ANRAN app for continuous recording or extended storage.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Solar Panel Efficiency
To ensure optimal charging, regularly clean the integrated solar panel to remove dust, dirt, or debris that may obstruct sunlight. Position the camera in an area that receives maximum direct sunlight throughout the day.
5.2 Cleaning the Camera
Wipe the camera lens and body with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the camera's surface or lens.
5.3 Firmware Updates
Periodically check the ANRAN app for available firmware updates. Keeping your camera's firmware updated ensures optimal performance, security, and access to new features.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Camera Not Connecting to Wi-Fi
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The camera does not support 5GHz networks.
- Check Wi-Fi signal strength at the camera's location. Move the camera closer to the router if necessary.
- Verify the Wi-Fi password entered in the app is correct.
- Restart your Wi-Fi router and the camera.
6.2 Poor Image Quality
- Clean the camera lens to remove any smudges or dirt.
- Ensure adequate lighting in the monitored area, especially for color night vision.
- Check your internet connection speed. A slow connection can affect live view quality.
6.3 Battery Not Charging
- Ensure the solar panel is clean and receives direct sunlight for several hours daily.
- Verify the USB charging cable is properly connected and the power adapter is functional.
- Extreme temperatures can affect battery performance.
6.4 False Motion Alerts
- Adjust the PIR motion detection sensitivity settings in the ANRAN app.
- Ensure the camera is not pointed at busy streets, swaying trees, or areas with frequent non-human movement.
- Define specific detection zones within the app to focus on critical areas.
