Operating Instructions
1. Basic Key Functions
The keyboard operates as a standard 75% layout keyboard. Refer to the keycap legends for primary functions. The Fn key is used in combination with other keys to access secondary functions.
2. Integrated Knob Functionality

- Rotate: Adjusts volume (default) or RGB brightness.
- Press: Toggles between volume control and RGB brightness control.
3. Rapid Trigger (RT)
Rapid Trigger allows keys to activate and deactivate instantly with minimal travel, providing a competitive edge in fast-paced games. This feature can be configured via the Akko Cloud Driver software.

In the software, you can set the key trigger range and enable/disable non-stop rapid trigger. Calibration of magnetic keys is recommended after software updates or significant changes to settings.
4. Dynamic Keystrokes (DKS)
DKS technology allows a single key to perform up to four different operations based on the depth of the keypress and release. This eliminates the limitations of conventional macros.

Configure DKS settings within the Akko Cloud Driver software to assign actions for light press, deep press, partial release, and full release.
5. Gamepad Mode
The keyboard features a Gamepad Mode, allowing it to function as a joystick for racing games or a regular keyboard for typing. This mode offers preset analog input response curves and customizable settings, accessible through the Akko Cloud Driver.
6. 8K Hz Polling Rate
In wired mode, the keyboard supports an 8000Hz polling rate, sending operational data 8 times faster than standard keyboards. This significantly reduces input latency.
7. On-board Memory
All customized settings, including RGB effects, key remappings, RT, and DKS configurations, are stored directly on the keyboard's hardware. This means you do not need to run the software in the background once settings are configured, and your preferences will persist across different computers.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning
- Disconnect the keyboard from all power sources before cleaning.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe the keycaps and chassis.
- For dust and debris between keycaps, use compressed air.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the keyboard's finish.
2. Keycap and Switch Replacement
The Akko MOD007B HE keyboard features hot-swappable sockets, allowing you to easily replace keycaps and switches without soldering.
- Use the provided keycap puller to gently remove keycaps. Pull straight up to avoid damaging the switch stem.
- Use the provided switch puller to remove switches. Ensure the switch puller grips both clips of the switch before pulling straight up.
- When installing new switches, align the pins with the sockets and press down gently until the switch clicks into place. Do not force switches, as this can bend the pins.
- Ensure the power switch is in the 'off' position or the keyboard is disconnected during switch replacement to prevent accidental inputs or damage.
Troubleshooting
1. Keyboard Not Responding
- Wired Mode: Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer. Check if the power switch under Caps Lock is in the correct position (Fn+U for wired mode). Try a different USB port or cable.
- 2.4GHz Wireless Mode: Ensure the 2.4GHz dongle is properly inserted into a USB port. Verify the power switch is in the bottom position. Press Fn + Y to re-establish connection. Check battery level.
- Bluetooth Mode: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Verify the power switch is in the bottom position. Press Fn + E/R/T to select the correct paired device. If issues persist, try re-pairing the keyboard. Check battery level.
2. Ghost Keystrokes or Unregistered Keys
- This can occur after software updates or if magnetic switch calibration is needed. Open the Akko Cloud Driver software, navigate to the "About" section, and perform a magnetic key calibration.
- Ensure no debris is lodged under the keycaps or switches.
3. RGB Backlighting Not Working
- Check the RGB brightness setting using the integrated knob.
- Ensure the keyboard is not in a low-power state (check battery level).
- Verify RGB settings in the Akko Cloud Driver software.
4. Software Not Detecting Keyboard
- Ensure the keyboard is connected via USB-C cable to the computer.
- Restart the Akko Cloud Driver software and/or your computer.
- Update the software to the latest version.
