3. Setup and Connection

The TECKNET TK-MS317 mouse supports three connection modes: 2.4G Wireless, Bluetooth 5.0, and Bluetooth 3.0. You can connect to two devices simultaneously and switch between them.

3.1 Charging the Mouse

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the mouse.

  • Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the mouse's charging port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
  • The LED indicator will show charging status (Red light indicates charging).
  • A full charge takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. The mouse can be used while charging.

3.2 2.4G Wireless Connection

  • Take out the USB receiver from the mouse's bottom compartment.
  • Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  • Slide the mode switch on the bottom of the mouse to the "2.4G" position.
  • The mouse will automatically connect to your computer. The LED indicator will show a green light for 2.4G mode.

3.3 Bluetooth Connection (BT5.0 / BT3.0)

The mouse supports two Bluetooth channels, allowing connection to two different Bluetooth-enabled devices.

  • Slide the mode switch on the bottom of the mouse to the "BT" position.
  • Press the Bluetooth pairing button on the bottom of the mouse. The LED indicator will flash blue, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  • On your device (computer, tablet, smartphone), go to Bluetooth settings and search for new devices.
  • Select "TECKNET Mouse" (or similar name) from the list of available devices to pair.
  • Once connected, the blue LED indicator will stop flashing and remain solid.
  • To connect a second Bluetooth device, repeat steps 2-5. The mouse will remember both Bluetooth connections.

Note: For iOS devices (iPad and iPhone), BT 5.0 mode is supported, but requires iOS 10.4 or higher.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Switching Between Devices

To switch between connected devices (2.4G, Bluetooth 1, Bluetooth 2), simply press the Bluetooth pairing button on the bottom of the mouse. The mouse will cycle through the connected modes.
