1. Introduction

The Gaoducash P06 WiFi Smart Motion Sensor is an indoor Passive Infrared (PIR) motion detector designed to enhance home security and automation. It provides real-time alerts via the Tuya Smart or Smart Life application and supports dual power supply options (USB or battery). 5. Setup

5.1 Power Supply

The sensor supports two power supply methods: battery or USB.

Battery Powered: Open the back cover and insert two AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. The battery life is approximately 6 months under normal usage. An app notification will be sent when the battery is low.
USB Powered: Connect the provided USB cable to the sensor's USB interface and plug it into a 1.5V USB power adapter (not included). This method is recommended for locations with frequent motion detection to ensure continuous operation.

5.2 App Installation and Device Pairing

The Gaoducash P06 sensor works with the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app.

Download the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app from your mobile device's app store.
Register or log in to your account.
Ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The sensor does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
Open the app, tap the "+" icon (or "Add Device") to add a new device.
Select "Motion Sensor" from the device list.
Follow the in-app instructions to put the sensor into pairing mode (usually by pressing and holding the reset button until the indicator light flashes).
Enter your Wi-Fi network details when prompted.
Once successfully paired, the device will appear in your app.

Placement: The sensor can be placed flat on a desktop or installed on a wall.
Mounting: Use the provided bracket and screws to mount the sensor to a wall. The sensor comes with a 360° rotating base, allowing you to easily adjust the detection angle after installation.
Detection Area: The sensor has a 128° detection angle and a detection distance of up to 10 meters. Position it to cover the desired area without obstructions.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Motion Detection and App Alerts

Once the sensor is set up and connected to the app, it will detect movement within its range.

When motion is detected, the sensor will send a real-time notification to your Tuya Smart or Smart Life app.
The app records up to 100 recent detection events, allowing you to review activity.
You can configure notification settings within the app, including enabling/disabling alerts.

6.2 Smart Home Automation

The PIR motion detector can act as a trigger for smart home scenes.

Within the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app, navigate to the "Smart" or "Automation" section.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Battery Replacement

When the app indicates a low battery, replace the two AA batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation. Open the back cover, remove old batteries, and insert new ones with correct polarity.

Wipe the sensor's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as they may damage the device or interfere with its detection capabilities.
