8. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Sensor not connecting to Wi-FiIncorrect Wi-Fi password; 5GHz Wi-Fi network; sensor too far from router; pairing mode not activated.Ensure correct 2.4GHz Wi-Fi password. Move sensor closer to router. Re-enter pairing mode by pressing the reset button.
No motion alertsLow battery; app notifications disabled; sensor placed incorrectly; Wi-Fi disconnected.Check battery level and replace if necessary. Enable app notifications. Adjust sensor placement. Verify Wi-Fi connection.
False alarmsSensor detecting pets or moving objects (curtains, fans); placed near heat sources or direct sunlight.Adjust sensor angle or relocate to avoid detecting non-human movement. Avoid placing near heat sources or windows with direct sunlight.
Short battery lifeFrequent motion detection; using non-alkaline batteries. If motion is frequent, consider using USB power. Ensure high-quality alkaline AA batteries are used.
