1. Introduction

This product is designed to provide a comfortable and functional sleeping solution with integrated features such as LED lighting, power outlets, and storage. This manual contains important information regarding the assembly, operation, and maintenance of your new bed base. Please read it thoroughly before assembly and retain it for future reference.

2. Safety Information

• Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 1100 lbs (approximately 499 kg).
• Exercise caution during assembly and disassembly. Follow all assembly instructions carefully to prevent instability or collapse.
• Ensure the bed frame is stable and secure before use. Regularly check and tighten all loose parts to avoid accidents.
• Keep small parts and packaging materials away from children to prevent choking hazards.
• Do not use power tools for assembly unless specifically instructed, as this may overtighten fasteners and damage components.

3. Package Contents

Before beginning assembly, verify that all parts listed in the assembly instructions are present and undamaged. The package typically includes:

• Headboard with integrated LED lights, AC outlets, and USB ports.
• Metal bed frame components (side rails, support beams, legs).
• Four under-bed storage drawers with wheels.

4. Setup and Assembly

Assembly of the FABATO Queen Size Bed Base is designed to be straightforward and can typically be completed within one hour with the provided tools. Follow the detailed instructions included in your package.

4.1 General Assembly Steps

1. Unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
2. Identify all parts and hardware using the provided list in the assembly manual.
3. Assemble the headboard first, attaching the LED light strip and ensuring the power outlets and USB ports are correctly oriented.
4. Connect the side rails and footboard to the headboard.
5. Install the metal support brackets and legs across the frame for mattress support. The platform bed features 13 sturdy metal brackets and 11 sturdy legs for even weight distribution.
6. Assemble the four under-bed storage drawers and place them into position.
7. Ensure all fasteners are securely tightened. Do not overtighten.
8. Place plastic pads on the bottom of the bed legs to protect your floor from scratches.

Note: A box spring is not required for this bed base.

4.2 Mattress Compatibility

This bed base is compatible with Queen size mattresses. For optimal support and aesthetics, a mattress thickness between 8 and 12 inches is recommended.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Headboard Power and USB Outlets

The headboard is equipped with 2 AC outlets and 2 USB ports for convenient charging of electronic devices. Simply plug your devices into the appropriate ports.

5.2 LED Lighting System

The integrated LED lighting system offers customizable ambiance. Use the included remote control to:

• Turn the lights On/Off.
• Select from 20 static colors.
• Choose from 22 dynamic lighting modes.
• Adjust brightness and speed of dynamic modes.

5.3 Storage Drawers

The four large under-bed storage drawers are designed for easy access. They are equipped with wheels, allowing them to be smoothly pulled out and pushed back in. Use the provided drawer liners to protect contents from snagging or falling through gaps.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the bed frame and headboard surfaces clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Fasteners: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight. Retighten as necessary to maintain stability.
• Drawers: Keep the drawer wheels free of debris to ensure smooth operation.
• Electrical Components: Ensure the power cable for the headboard is not pinched or damaged. Do not attempt to repair electrical components yourself.

7. Troubleshooting

• Bed Frame Squeaks: Ensure all bolts are securely tightened. Check that the anti-squeak pads are correctly installed between metal components.
• LED Lights Not Working: Verify that the power cable for the headboard is properly plugged into a working wall outlet. Check the connection of the LED strip to the headboard's control unit. Ensure the remote control has working batteries.
• USB/AC Outlets Not Functioning: Confirm the headboard's power cable is securely plugged into a live wall outlet. Test the outlet with another device.
• Drawers Do Not Slide Smoothly: Check for any obstructions under the bed or in the drawer tracks. Ensure the drawer wheels are clean and undamaged. Verify that the drawers were assembled correctly and are not misaligned.
• Missing Drawer Bases: Some users have reported drawers arriving without internal bases. If your drawers are missing these, contact customer support for assistance.
