6.2 Dry and Moist Modes
The machine offers specific modes for different food types:
- Dry Mode: Ideal for solid foods with no moisture, such as nuts, grains, or dried fruits.
- Moist Mode: Suitable for foods with some liquid content, like raw meats, marinated items, or fruits. This mode ensures a stronger seal to prevent leakage.
6.3 Normal and Gentle Pressure Modes
Adjust the vacuum pressure based on the food's delicacy:
- Normal Mode: Standard vacuum pressure for most solid and firm foods.
- Gentle Mode: Reduces vacuum pressure to prevent crushing delicate items like bread, pastries, or soft fruits.
6.4 Pulse Mode for Fragile Items
For extremely delicate foods that require precise vacuum control, use the 'Pulse' mode:
- Place the bag in the vacuum channel and close the lid.
- Press and hold the 'Pulse' button to manually control the vacuum.
- Release the 'Pulse' button when the desired vacuum level is reached.
- Immediately press the 'Seal' button to seal the bag.
6.5 Sealing Only (Without Vacuum)
To create a seal without vacuuming, for example, when making a bag from a roll or sealing a bag of chips:
- Place the open end of the bag onto the sealing bar.
- Close the lid firmly.
- Press the 'Seal' button. The machine will heat-seal the bag without removing air.
- Once the indicator light turns off, open the lid and remove the sealed bag.
6.6 External Vacuum for Bottles and Canisters
The accessory hose and bottle stopper allow for vacuum sealing compatible bottles and canisters.
- Connect one end of the accessory hose to the accessory port on the vacuum sealer.
- Attach the other end of the hose to the vacuum bottle stopper or canister lid.
- Place the bottle stopper firmly into the bottle opening or secure the canister lid.
- Press the 'Vac Seal' button. The machine will extract air from the container.
