Key Remapping with QMK/VIA:
The K10 Pro is fully programmable with QMK and VIA software. To remap keys or create macros:
- Download the VIA software from the Keychron official website.
- Connect the K10 Pro to your device using the USB-C cable (wired mode is required for remapping).
- Open the VIA software. The software should automatically detect your keyboard.
- Drag and drop desired keys or macro commands to remap any key. Changes are saved directly to the keyboard's firmware and will work in both wired and wireless modes.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Keyboard:
To maintain optimal performance and appearance, regularly clean your keyboard:
- Disconnect the keyboard from your computer.
- Use a can of compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keycaps.
- Wipe the keycaps and case with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- For deeper cleaning, keycaps can be removed using a keycap puller.
Keycap and Switch Replacement:
The K10 Pro features hot-swappable switches, allowing you to change switches without soldering. The double-shot PBT keycaps are also durable and can be replaced if desired.
- Removing Keycaps: Use a keycap puller to gently lift keycaps straight up.
- Removing Switches: Use a switch puller to carefully remove the switch from the PCB. Ensure the keyboard is disconnected before attempting this.
- Installing Switches/Keycaps: Align the new switch/keycap with the socket/stem and press down gently until it clicks into place.

Troubleshooting
Connectivity Issues:
- Bluetooth not connecting: Ensure the keyboard is in Bluetooth mode and in pairing mode (Fn + 1/2/3 for 4 seconds). Check your device's Bluetooth settings and try re-pairing.
- Wired connection not working: Ensure the mode switch is set to 'Cable' and the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and your computer. Try a different USB port or cable.
Key Remapping Not Applying:
- Remember that key remapping via VIA software requires the keyboard to be connected in wired mode during the remapping process. Once remapped, the changes will apply to both wired and wireless modes.
- Ensure you have the correct firmware and VIA JSON file loaded for your specific K10 Pro model.
Backlight Not Working:
- Check if the backlight is simply turned off or set to the lowest brightness. Use the backlight control keys to adjust.
- Ensure the keyboard battery has sufficient charge.
