Package Contents

  • Ensenior Solar Flood Light Unit (2 units for 2-PACK)
  • Separate Solar Panel
  • Remote Control
  • Mounting Hardware (screws, anchors)
  • Instruction Manual

Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance. Ensure the solar panel receives direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours daily.

1. Choose a Location

Select a mounting location for the light unit that provides the desired illumination coverage. The motion sensor has a 180° detection angle and up to 75ft sensing distance. The separate solar panel should be mounted in an area with maximum direct sunlight exposure.

The separate solar panel allows for flexible placement to maximize sun exposure, even if the light unit is in a shaded area.

2. Mounting the Light Unit

The light unit can be wall-mounted or right-angle mounted. Use the provided screws and anchors to securely fasten the light fixture to your chosen surface. The recommended installation height is 6.5-8.25 feet above the ground for a detection distance of up to 72 feet at 77 degrees Fahrenheit.

3. Mounting the Solar Panel

Mount the solar panel in a location that receives maximum direct sunlight throughout the day. Connect the solar panel cable to the input port on the light unit. The cable length is approximately 14.8 feet (4.5m), providing flexibility for placement.

Operating Instructions

Your Ensenior Solar Flood Light offers 5 distinct operating modes, controllable via the included remote or buttons on the light unit.

Operating Modes:

  • Security Mode: High brightness (1800 LM) flashes for 15 seconds when motion is detected, then stays on high brightness for 15 seconds before turning off.
  • Sensor Mode: Turns on high brightness (1800 LM) for 30/60/120 seconds when motion is detected, then turns off after motion leaves.
  • Sensor Mode (ECO): Turns on medium brightness (240 LM) for 30/60/120 seconds when motion is detected, then turns off after motion leaves.
  • Dim to Sensor Mode (ECO): Stays on low brightness (12 LM) continuously, then turns to medium brightness (240 LM) for 30/60/120 seconds when motion is detected, and dims back to 12 LM after motion leaves.
  • On Mode: Keeps the light on medium brightness (240 LM) for 4 hours continuously.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your solar flood lights, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Clean Solar Panel: Regularly wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, and debris. A clean panel ensures efficient charging.
  • Check Connections: Periodically inspect all cable connections between the solar panel and the light unit to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion.
  • Clear Obstructions: Ensure no trees, bushes, or other objects are blocking direct sunlight from reaching the solar panel or obstructing the motion sensor's field of view.
  • Battery Care: The integrated Lithium-Ion batteries are designed for long life. If the light's performance significantly degrades over time, the batteries may need replacement by a qualified technician.

Troubleshooting

If your Ensenior Solar Flood Light is not functioning as expected, refer to the following common issues and solutions:

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Light does not turn on at night.Insufficient solar panel charging.Ensure the solar panel is in direct sunlight for 6-8 hours daily. Clean the solar panel surface.
Light stays on continuously or flashes.Incorrect mode setting or motion sensor sensitivity too high.Check the selected operating mode. Adjust motion sensor sensitivity to a lower setting. Ensure no constant motion is within the sensor's range.
Light is dim or has short illumination time.Low battery charge or dirty solar panel.Allow the solar panel to charge fully in direct sunlight. Clean the solar panel.
Motion sensor not detecting movement.Motion sensor obstructed or sensitivity too low.Clear any obstructions from the sensor. Increase motion sensor sensitivity. Ensure the sensor is pointed towards the desired detection area.
