4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly set up and install your OKPRO Solar Lights:

1. Initial Charge: Before first use, ensure the solar panel is exposed to direct sunlight for 8-12 hours to fully charge the internal batteries. This allows the light to function normally.
2. Choose a Location: Select an outdoor location where the solar panel can receive direct sunlight for most of the day. Avoid areas with overhead obstructions like trees or buildings that might reduce charging efficiency.
3. Assemble the Bracket: Attach the lamp body to the mounting bracket using the provided screws. The bracket allows for 180° adjustment to optimize solar panel angle and light direction.
4. Mount the Light: Use the included screw accessories to securely mount the light to a wall or lamp post. Ensure the mounting surface is stable.
5. Adjust Angle: Once mounted, adjust the angle of the solar panel to face the sun for maximum exposure. Adjust the light head to illuminate the desired area.

5. Operating Instructions

Your OKPRO Solar Light features an intelligent radar motion sensor and can be controlled via the included remote. It offers three distinct lighting modes:

• Mode 1 (Motion Activated Full Brightness, then OFF): The light remains off until motion is detected. When motion is detected, the light turns on at 100% brightness. It automatically turns off when no motion is detected for a period.
• Mode 2 (Motion Activated Full Brightness, then Dim): The light stays at 30% brightness at night. When motion is detected, it brightens to 100%. After 30 seconds of no motion, it returns to 30% brightness.
• Mode 3 (Constant 50% Brightness): The light automatically turns on at night at a constant 50% brightness and stays on until dawn or battery depletion.

Use the remote control to select your desired mode (Mode 1, Mode 2, Mode 3 buttons). The remote also has ON/OFF buttons and timer settings (e.g., 3hrs/5hrs to sensor, 4hrs constant light).

6. Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your solar lights, consider the following maintenance tips:

• Clean Solar Panel: Regularly wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris. A clean panel ensures maximum sunlight absorption and charging efficiency.
• Clear Obstructions: Periodically check for any new obstructions (e.g., growing branches, new structures) that might block sunlight from reaching the solar panel.
• Battery Care: The integrated lithium-ion batteries are designed for long-term use. Avoid fully discharging the batteries frequently to prolong their lifespan.

7. Troubleshooting

If your solar light is not functioning as expected, try the following:

• Light Not Turning On at Night:
  • Ensure the light has received sufficient direct sunlight for charging (8-12 hours recommended for initial use).
  • Verify that the solar panel is not obstructed by dirt, leaves, or shadows.
  • Check if the light is set to the correct operating mode using the remote control.
• Motion Sensor Not Working:
  • Confirm the light is in Mode 1 or Mode 2, which utilize the motion sensor.
  • Ensure the sensor is clean and unobstructed.
  • Test the sensor by moving within its detection range after dark.
• Light is Dim or Short-Lived:
  • The solar panel may not be receiving enough direct sunlight. Relocate the light or clear any obstructions.
  • The battery may not be fully charged. Allow for several days of full sun exposure.
  • Extreme temperatures can affect battery performance.
