This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and troubleshooting of your MSL FORCE USB 3.0 to HDMI Conversion Adapter. This adapter allows you to connect your USB 3.0 compatible PC to an HDMI display, supporting resolutions up to 1920x1080p. It is an ideal solution for expanding your display capabilities and enhancing work efficiency through multi-display setups.

Important Notes and Precautions

• This product is designed exclusively for USB 3.0 ports. Connecting to a USB 2.0 port may result in lower resolution or no video output. Please verify your PC's USB port compatibility before use.
• Always connect the adapter directly to your PC or device. Avoid using USB hubs, as this may affect performance.
• After driver download, it may take several seconds to tens of seconds for the device to be recognized by your system.
• While the product utilizes USB 3.0 transfer speeds to its limit, simultaneous video signal conversion may cause a 1-2 second display delay (screen flickering) or temporary freezing.
• Ensure your monitor is set to HDMI input mode after connecting the adapter. Some monitors may require manual input selection as they lack an auto-search function.
• Antivirus software on your PC might prevent driver download. If this occurs, temporarily disable your antivirus and try again.
• Be cautious when using this product with PCs (especially corporate PCs) that have network security settings, as it may lead to system malfunctions.
• Refresh rate cannot be changed with this product.
• This product is not compatible with Apple products.
• The display performance and number of supported displays are influenced by your CPU's performance.
• This product does not support HDCP. Copyright-protected content, such as digital terrestrial broadcasts, cannot be displayed.
• When displaying your PC screen on a TV, please refer to your TV's instruction manual for specific settings and limitations.
• The product uses two chips, which may cause it to generate heat during use. This is within the normal operating range, and the product is safe to use. If you are concerned, we recommend using a heatsink (sold separately).
• This product is primarily designed for PCs and monitors. Connecting it to car navigation systems or other in-car devices may result in errors.

Setup Guide

1. Driver Installation

The driver for this adapter is designed for easy installation. When you connect the adapter to your PC, a pop-up will appear prompting you to download the driver. Please follow the on-screen instructions and refer to the included instruction manual for the correct download sequence.

2. Connecting the Adapter

1. Ensure your PC is powered on and running.
2. Connect the USB-A end of the adapter directly into an available USB 3.0 port on your PC. Avoid using USB hubs.
3. Connect an HDMI cable (not included) from the HDMI output port of the adapter to the HDMI input port on your monitor, HDTV, or projector.
4. Turn on your display device and select the correct HDMI input source.
5. Allow a few moments for your PC to recognize the new display.

Operating Modes

The adapter supports two primary display modes to enhance your productivity:

1. Extension Mode

In Extension Mode, your desktop is expanded across multiple displays, allowing you to view different content on each screen. This is ideal for multitasking, such as having a document open on one screen and a web browser on another. Windows and mouse pointers can move seamlessly between displays.

2. Mirror Mode

Mirror Mode duplicates your primary PC screen onto the connected external display. This is useful for presentations, sharing content with an audience, or simply viewing your desktop on a larger screen.

To switch between Extension and Mirror modes, press the Windows Key + P on your keyboard and select your desired display option.

Troubleshooting

If the product does not function correctly, please follow these steps:

1. Verify that you have followed all steps in this instruction manual in the correct order.
2. Ensure your Windows operating system is updated to the latest version.
3. Firmly insert all connectors into their respective ports and restart your computer.
4. Try connecting the adapter to a different USB port on your PC to check for functionality.
5. Uninstall any drivers from other manufacturers that might be interfering.
6. Uninstall the current driver for this device, then visit the official MSL FORCE website to download and install the latest driver.
