3. Setup Guide

3.1. Initial Charging

Before first use, ensure the ANCEL V5BT-US scan tool is fully charged using the provided Type-C USB cable and power adapter. Connect the Type-C cable to the scanner's charging port and the power adapter to a standard electrical outlet. The charging indicator on the device will show its status.

3.2. Connecting the VCI (Vehicle Communication Interface)

The VCI module facilitates wireless communication between the scanner and your vehicle. Locate your vehicle's OBD2 port, typically found under the dashboard on the driver's side. Plug the Bluetooth VCI securely into the OBD2 port. Once connected, the VCI will power on and establish a wireless connection with the ANCEL V5BT-US scanner.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. User Interface Navigation

The ANCEL V5BT-US features a 7-inch touchscreen for intuitive navigation. Tap on icons to select functions, swipe to scroll through menus, and use the back button to return to previous screens. The main menu provides access to core functions such as Diagnosis, Hot Function, Quick Support, Update, Data Manager, Feedback, and Settings.

4.2. Diagnostic Functions

To perform a diagnostic scan, select the 'Diagnosis' option from the main menu. The tool supports:

4.3. Bi-directional Control (Active Tests)

The bidirectional control feature allows the user to send commands from the scan tool to the vehicle's ECUs to test specific components or systems. The 'Hot Function' menu provides quick access to frequently used maintenance and reset services. These include, but are not limited to, Oil Reset, ABS Bleeding, Battery Registration, DPF Regeneration, EPB Resets, Injector Coding, TPMS Reset, Throttle Adaptation, SAS Calibration, and AT Setting. For a comprehensive list of available services for your specific vehicle, navigate through the 'Diagnosis' function, select the detailed vehicle model, and then explore the component modules.

4.5. Software Updates
