3. Setup

  1. Assemble the Microphone: Attach the AM10U microphone to the provided desk stand. The microphone features a 1/4'' screw hole for secure mounting.
  2. Connect to Device:
    • For PC/Laptop: Connect the USB-C end of the provided cable to the microphone and the USB-A end to your computer's USB port. If your computer has a USB-C port, you can use the USB-C to USB-C connection directly.
    • For Camera: Use a 3.5mm TRS audio cable (not included) to connect the microphone's 3.5mm audio port to your camera's audio input.
  3. Placement: Position the microphone on your desk or mount it on a boom arm (sold separately) for optimal sound capture. Ensure the microphone is facing the sound source.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Controls Overview

  • Volume Control: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the microphone's output volume. The AM10U offers three-level gain control.
  • Mute Button: Press the mute button to instantly mute or unmute the microphone.
  • Noise Canceling Button: Long-press the MODE button for 2 seconds to toggle the AI noise suppression. The indicator light will be blue when noise canceling is active and green when it is off.
  • Polar Pattern Selection: Press the MODE button (short press) to cycle through the three available polar patterns:
    • Omni-directional: Captures sound from all directions, ideal for multi-person recordings.
    • Cardioid: Focuses on sound directly in front of the microphone, suitable for solo vocals, podcasts, and gaming.
    • Bi-directional (Figure-8): Captures sound from the front and rear, perfect for two-person interviews.

7. Software Updates
