Setup

1. Unpack the Appliance: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for storage or return if necessary.
2. Placement: Place the vacuum sealer on a clean, dry, and flat countertop or table. Ensure there is enough space around the unit for operation.
3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
4. Bag Roll Installation (Optional):
   • Open the lid of the vacuum sealer.
   • Locate the bag roll storage compartment.
   • Insert the bag roll into the compartment.
   • Pull out the desired length of bag material and use the built-in cutter to create a custom-sized bag.
   • Seal one end of the custom-cut bag using the "Seal" function (refer to Operating Instructions).
5. Drip Tray: Ensure the removable drip tray is correctly inserted into its slot.

Operating Instructions

Basic Vacuum Sealing:

1. Prepare the Bag: Place the food item into a vacuum sealer bag, ensuring at least 3 inches of space between the food and the open end of the bag.
2. Position the Bag: Open the lid of the vacuum sealer. Place the open end of the bag flat into the vacuum channel, ensuring it is centered over the sealing strip.
3. Close and Latch: Close the lid firmly until it latches securely on both sides. You may hear a click.
4. Select Mode: Choose the appropriate mode based on your food type:
   • Dry Mode: For solid foods with no moisture.
   • Moist Mode: For foods containing liquids or moisture.
   • Gentle Mode: For delicate items that could be crushed by full vacuum pressure.
   • Pulse Mode: Allows manual control over the vacuum process, ideal for fragile items. Press and hold the Pulse button to vacuum, release to stop, then press Seal.
5. Start Sealing: Press the "Vac Seal" button. The machine will automatically vacuum the air from the bag and then seal it. Indicator lights will show the progress.
6. Release: Once the process is complete, the indicator lights will turn off. Press the release buttons (if present) or lift the lid to open. Remove the sealed bag.

Sealing Only:

To create a seal without vacuuming (e.g., for making bags from a roll or resealing snack bags):

1. Place the open end of the bag over the sealing strip.
2. Close the lid firmly.
3. Press the "Seal" button. The machine will heat and seal the bag without removing air.
4. Once complete, open the lid and remove the sealed bag.

Using the Accessory Hose and Bottle Stopper:

The accessory hose and bottle stopper allow you to vacuum seal compatible canisters, jars, and bottles.

1. Insert one end of the accessory hose into the accessory port on the vacuum sealer.
2. Attach the other end of the hose to the port on your compatible canister, jar sealer lid, or bottle stopper.
3. Ensure the lid or stopper is securely placed on the container.
4. Close the vacuum sealer lid.
5. Press the "Accessory" or "Canister" button (if available) or the "Vac Seal" button. The machine will draw air from the container.
6. Once vacuuming is complete, remove the hose.

Maintenance

Cleaning:

• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
• Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
• The removable drip tray can be washed with warm, soapy water. Ensure it is completely dry before reinserting.
• Clean the vacuum channel and sealing strip regularly to prevent food residue buildup, which can affect sealing performance.

Storage:

• When storing the vacuum sealer, it is recommended to place a folded cardboard piece (often included with the unit) between the lid and the base to prevent compression of the rubber seal. This helps maintain the seal's integrity over time.
• Store the appliance in a dry, cool place.
