3. Setup

Follow these steps to prepare your steam cleaner for first use:

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Assemble: Attach the desired accessories (e.g., extension wands, mop head) to the steam gun. Ensure they click securely into place.
  3. Fill Water Tank: Ensure the unit is unplugged and cool. Unscrew the water tank cap. Use the provided measuring cup and funnel to fill the 1.5L water tank with clean tap water. Do not overfill. Distilled water is recommended to prevent mineral buildup. Securely replace the water tank cap.

  1. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

Once set up, follow these steps to operate your steam cleaner:

  1. Power On: Turn on the main power switch. The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the unit is heating up.
  2. Heating Time: Allow approximately 8-10 minutes for the water to heat up and produce steam. The indicator light may change or turn off when ready, depending on the model.
  3. Steam Release: Press the steam trigger on the steam gun to release steam. Direct the steam towards the surface you wish to clean.

  1. Cleaning Technique:
    • For floors and carpets, use the mop head with a microfiber pad or carpet glider. Move the mop head slowly over the surface.
    • For stubborn stains, hold the steam nozzle closer to the surface for a few seconds before wiping.
    • Use appropriate brushes for different surfaces (e.g., nylon brushes for general cleaning, brass brush for tough grime on metal surfaces, triangle brush for corners).
    • For windows and glass, use the squeegee attachment.
  2. Refilling: If the steam output decreases or stops, the water tank may be empty. Turn off and unplug the unit, allow it to cool for a few minutes, then carefully unscrew the cap and refill the tank as described in the Setup section.
  3. Finishing: When cleaning is complete, turn off the power switch and unplug the unit. Allow it to cool completely before storing.

5. Maintenance

  • Empty Water Tank: After each use, ensure the unit is cool and depressurized. Carefully unscrew the water tank cap and empty any remaining water.
  • Clean Accessories: Wash microfiber pads and brushes with water and mild detergent. Allow them to air dry completely before storing.
  • Wipe Down Unit: Wipe the exterior of the steam cleaner with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
