1. Introduction

Welcome to the user manual for your pTron Bassbuds Duo Pro True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Earbuds. These earbuds are designed to provide a high-quality audio experience with features such as 3D Audioscape, TruTalk AI-ENC for clear calls, Thunder Bass, and up to 38 hours of combined playtime. They also offer 50ms low latency for movie and music modes, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, fast Type-C charging, and IPX5 water resistance. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your new earbuds.

3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and the charging case. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the case and a compatible USB power source (DC5V-1A max). The indicator light on the case will show charging status and turn off or change color when fully charged. Place the earbuds into the charging case to charge them.

3.2 Pairing with Your Device

1. Ensure the earbuds are charged and inside the charging case.
2. Open the charging case lid. The earbuds will automatically power on and enter pairing mode.
3. On your smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled device, go to the Bluetooth settings.
4. Search for available devices and select "pTron Bassbuds Duo Pro" from the list.
5. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation prompt, and the earbuds will be ready for use.
6. The earbuds will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when taken out of the case.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Open the charging case lid, or long-press the touch sensor on both earbuds for 3 seconds.
• Power Off: Place the earbuds back into the charging case and close the lid, or long-press the touch sensor on both earbuds for 5 seconds.

4.2 Music Control (Touch Controls)

• Play/Pause: Single tap on either earbud.
• Next Track: Double tap on the right earbud.
• Previous Track: Double tap on the left earbud.
• Volume Up: Triple tap on the right earbud.
• Volume Down: Triple tap on the left earbud.

4.3 Call Control (TruTalk AI-ENC)

• Answer/End Call: Single tap on either earbud.
• Reject Call: Long-press on either earbud for 2 seconds.
• The TruTalk AI-ENC technology and built-in HD mics enhance call clarity by minimizing background noise.

4.4 Voice Assistant

• Activate Voice Assistant: Long-press on either earbud for 3 seconds to activate your phone's voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant).

4.5 Movie/Music Modes (50ms Low Latency)

• The earbuds feature dedicated modes for optimized audio. Switch between Movie Mode (50ms low latency for gaming/videos) and Music Mode by pressing the touch sensor four times on either earbud.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

• Regularly clean the earbuds and charging case with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
• Remove eartips and clean them with mild soap and water if necessary, ensuring they are completely dry before reattaching.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

5.2 Storage

• When not in use, store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them and keep them charged.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.

5.3 Water and Sweat Resistance (IPX5)

The pTron Bassbuds Duo Pro earbuds are rated IPX5, meaning they are resistant to water splashes and sweat. This makes them suitable for workouts and outdoor activities. However, they are not designed for submersion in water or exposure to heavy rain. Do not wear them while swimming or showering.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Common Issues and Solutions

• Earbuds not pairing:
  - Ensure both earbuds are charged.
  - Turn off Bluetooth on your device, then turn it back on.
  - Forget/delete "pTron Bassbuds Duo Pro" from your device's Bluetooth list and try pairing again.
  - Place earbuds back in the case, close the lid, wait a few seconds, then open to re-enter pairing mode.
• Only one earbud working:
  - Ensure both earbuds are charged.
  - Try placing both earbuds back in the charging case, closing the lid, and then taking them out again to re-establish stereo connection.
  - Reset the earbuds (see 6.2).
• No sound:
  - Check the volume level on both your device and the earbuds.
  - Ensure the earbuds are properly connected to your device.
  - Try playing audio from a different application or source.
• Charging issues:
  - Ensure the Type-C cable is securely connected to both the case and the power source.
  - Try a different charging cable or power adapter.
  - Clean the charging contacts on the earbuds and inside the case with a dry cotton swab.
• Touch controls unresponsive:
  - Ensure your fingers are clean and dry.
  - Try restarting the earbuds by placing them in the case and taking them out again.

6.2 Resetting the Earbuds

If you experience persistent issues, a factory reset may resolve them:

1. Delete "pTron Bassbuds Duo Pro" from your device's Bluetooth paired list.
2. Place both earbuds into the charging case.
3. With the lid open, press and hold the reset button (if available, otherwise long-press the touch sensors on both earbuds) for approximately 10-15 seconds until the indicator lights flash, indicating a successful reset.
4. Close the case, then open it again to re-enter pairing mode and pair with your device as described in Section 3.2.
