6. Environmental Control
The Smart Controller 43 allows you to set target values for temperature, humidity, VPD, and CO2. The system will automatically adjust connected devices (lights, fans, humidifiers) to maintain these optimal conditions.
- Temperature Control: Set desired day and night temperatures. The inline and clip fans will adjust speed based on these settings.
- Humidity Control: Set desired day and night humidity levels. Humidifiers or dehumidifiers (if connected) will activate as needed.
- VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) & CO2: Monitor and set target ranges for VPD and CO2 levels to further optimize plant growth.
7. Light Management (TS1000 LED Grow Light)
7.1 Full Spectrum Output
The TS1000 LED grow light provides a sun-like full spectrum, suitable for all stages of plant growth. Specific light wavelengths promote different aspects of plant development:
- 3000K: Boosts flowering and yields.
- 5000K: Promotes plant germination.
- 660nm: Promotes plant flowering.
- 760nm: Looks dim but promotes flowering and boosts yields.

9. Maintenance
- Grow Tent Cleaning: Regularly wipe down the interior Mylar with a damp cloth to maintain reflectivity. Ensure the tent is dry before closing to prevent mold.
- Carbon Filter Replacement: The carbon filter's effectiveness decreases over time. Replace the activated carbon or the entire filter unit as needed, typically every 6-12 months depending on usage.
- Fan Cleaning: Periodically clean the blades of the inline and clip fans to prevent dust buildup, which can reduce efficiency and increase noise.
- Light Fixture Inspection: Check the LED grow light for any dust accumulation on the diodes or heatsink. Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth.
10. Troubleshooting
- No Power to Devices: Ensure all power cables are securely connected and the main power switch is on. Check the Smart Controller 43 for any error messages.
- Light Not Turning On/Dimming Incorrectly: Verify the light's dimmer knob setting. Check the Smart Controller 43's light settings in the app or on the device. Ensure the RJ12 cable is properly connected.
- Fan Not Operating/Low Airflow: Check fan connections to the Smart Controller 43. Inspect ducting for kinks or blockages. Clean fan blades and ensure the carbon filter is not excessively clogged.
- Inaccurate Sensor Readings: Ensure sensors are clean and properly positioned. Perform sensor calibration through the Smart Controller 43's system configuration menu if necessary.
- App Connectivity Issues: Confirm your mobile device is connected to the correct WiFi network. Restart the Smart Controller 43 and your mobile app. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled for initial device pairing.
