Setup Instructions

1. Battery Installation:
   Rotate the top cover of the product counter-clockwise to open it. Insert the provided 9V battery, ensuring correct alignment of the interface terminals. Turn the internal power switch to the ON position. Align the arrow mark on the side of the top cover with the arrow on the main unit, then rotate clockwise until you hear a "click" to secure the cover. Ensure the speaker hole is not blocked.

2. Testing the Device:
   To confirm normal functionality, touch the two bottom contact points simultaneously with your fingers. The device should emit a sound, indicating it is working correctly.
3. Connecting External Sensor (Optional):
   If using the external detection cable, plug the cable's jack into the designated port on the side of the main unit. The external sensor will now detect water. Test by touching the two metal pins on the external sensor simultaneously.

4. Placement Options:
   The detector can be placed directly on the floor in areas prone to leaks (e.g., under sinks, near water heaters). For wall-mounted installation, retrieve the wall-mounting bracket from the screw bag. Secure the bracket to the main unit with small screws, then mount the unit to the wall using the provided screws and anchors. Adjust the height as needed and position the external detection line to the desired area.
