Operating (Gameplay Overview)
Zombicide: White Death is a cooperative game where players work together to achieve scenario objectives while battling hordes of zombies and powerful Necromancers. The game is played over a series of rounds, each consisting of a Player Phase and a Zombie Phase.
Player Phase
- Each Survivor takes their turn, performing actions such as moving, searching, opening doors, attacking, or reorganizing inventory.
- Actions are limited by the Survivor's current experience level.
- Cooperation and strategic planning are crucial for success.
Zombie Phase
- All active Zombies on the board activate, moving towards Survivors or attacking if in range.
- New Zombies spawn at designated spawn zones, increasing the threat.
- Corruption Mechanic: Beware the spread of Corruption by Necromancers. This mechanic introduces a timer and additional challenges, requiring Survivors to neutralize its source before it overwhelms Wintergrad.
- Wintergrad Battlements: Utilize the city's battlements for tactical advantages, allowing Survivors to attack from elevated positions. Guards are also present to assist in the defense.
