Setup and Installation

1. Mounting the Dash Cam

Choose between the suction cup mount or the adhesive mount for installation on your windshield. Ensure the chosen location does not obstruct your view and allows for optimal camera angles. The dash cam is designed to be compact and discreet.

  • Power Button: Long press to power on/off the dash cam. Short press to turn on/off the screen.
  • OK Button: In recording mode, short press to stop recording video. In setting menu/playback mode, short press to confirm selection.
  • UP Button: In recording mode, short press to turn on/off the cabin camera IR light. In setting menu/playback mode, short press to switch option. In playback/video recording mode, short press to switch front/inside/rear camera view.
  • MENU Button: In standby mode, short press to access the menu setting, and press again to access system setting menu. In standby mode, long press to switch mode between video/photo/playback. In recording mode, short press to lock/unlock the current video.
  • DOWN Button: In setting menu/playback mode, short press to switch option. In playback/video recording mode, short press to switch front/inside/rear camera view. In standby mode/video mode, short press to turn off audio.
  • Micro SD Card Slot: For inserting the memory card.
  • Reset Button: Used to reset the device if it becomes unresponsive.

Basic Operation

Powering On/Off

The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when connected to power and your vehicle starts. It will power off automatically when the vehicle is turned off.

Recording Modes

  • Loop Recording: This feature allows continuous recording by overwriting the oldest unlocked footage when the memory card is full. This ensures you always have the most recent recordings.
  • G-Sensor (Emergency Recording): The built-in G-Sensor detects sudden shakes or collisions. When triggered, it automatically locks the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. This protects crucial evidence in case of an accident.
