Setup & Installation

The WEIZE LiFePO4 battery comes fully charged and ready for installation. Ensure your vehicle's electrical system is compatible with a 12V LiFePO4 battery. Always disconnect the negative terminal first when removing the old battery and connect the positive terminal first when installing the new battery.

Installation Steps:

1. Safety First: Wear appropriate safety gear, including gloves and eye protection. Ensure the vehicle's ignition is off.
2. Remove Old Battery: Disconnect the negative (-) terminal first, followed by the positive (+) terminal. Carefully remove the old battery from its compartment.
3. Check Battery Compartment: Clean the battery tray and terminals of any corrosion or debris.
4. Adjust Sizing (if necessary): Use the included modular trays to achieve the correct height for your vehicle's battery compartment. The battery dimensions are 5.95 in (L) x 3.43 in (W) x 3.66 in (H). Modular trays can adjust the height to fit YTX7, YTX9, and YTX12 applications.

Operation

The WEIZE LiFePO4 battery is designed for starting applications in various vehicles. Its advanced technology ensures consistent power delivery and quick starts.

Starting Your Vehicle:

• Ensure all vehicle accessories are turned off before attempting to start the engine.
• Turn the ignition key to the 'ON' position.
• Engage the starter. The battery's 400 CCA provides strong cranking power for quick engine ignition.
• Once the engine starts, the vehicle's charging system will maintain the battery's charge.

Battery Management System (BMS) Functionality:

The integrated BMS actively monitors and protects the battery. If the battery voltage drops below 1V due to excessive discharge, the BMS will automatically cut off power to protect the battery. It will automatically reactivate after 1 second once the load is removed or a charging source is connected, without needing a higher voltage input for activation.
