2. Safety Instructions

4. Setup and Initial Charging

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge your BLUETTI PS72.

Initial Charging (AC Wall Outlet):

  1. Connect the provided AC adapter to the PS72's input port.
  2. Plug the AC adapter into a standard wall outlet.
  3. The display will indicate charging status. A full charge typically takes 4.1-4.6 hours.

5. Operating Instructions

Learn how to power your devices and recharge the PS72 using various methods.

5.1 Turning On/Off and Output Control

  • Power On/Off: Press and hold the main power button to turn the unit on or off.
  • AC Output: Press the AC button to enable or disable the AC outlets. The indicator light will illuminate when active.
  • DC Output: Press the DC button to enable or disable the DC 5521 and car port outputs. The indicator light will illuminate when active.
  • USB Output: USB-A and USB-C ports are typically active when the unit is on.
  • LED Lamp: Press the lamp button to cycle through half-bright, full-bright, and SOS modes.

5.2 Eco Mode

The PS72 features an Eco Mode, which automatically turns off the AC output after 10 hours of non-use if the power draw is below 10 watts. This conserves battery life. To activate or deactivate Eco Mode, refer to the unit's display and control panel for specific instructions.

5.3 Charging the PS72

The PS72 supports multiple charging methods:

  • AC Wall Charging: As described in Section 4.
  • Solar Charging: Connect compatible solar panels (max 200W input) to the PS72's solar input port. Charging time is approximately 4.1-4.6 hours under optimal sunlight.

  • Car Charging: Use the provided car charging cable to connect the PS72 to your vehicle's 12V or 24V car port. Charging time ranges from 4.1-4.6 hours (24V) to 7.8-8.3 hours (12V).

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your PS72.

  • Battery Care: The PS72 utilizes LiFePO4 battery cells, offering over 2000 life cycles to 80% capacity. For best results, avoid completely draining the battery frequently.
  • Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, charge it to 50-80% every 3-6 months. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Cleaning: Use a dry, soft cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use liquid cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
