Battery Installation

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

• To turn on the scale, press the [ON/OFF] button.
• To turn off the scale, press and hold the [ON/OFF] button for a few seconds, or the scale will automatically shut off after 180 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery life.

Unit Conversion

• With the scale powered on and displaying "0.0" or "0.00", press the [MODE] button to cycle through the available weighing units: grams (g), carats (ct), pennyweights (dwt), troy ounces (ozt), ounces (oz), and grains (gn).
• Select the desired unit before placing items on the weighing platform.

Tare Function

The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, so you only measure the net weight of its contents.

1. Place an empty container on the weighing platform.

2. Press and hold the [PCS] button for 3 seconds until "PCS" appears and a number (e.g., "25") flashes on the display.
3. Press the [MODE] button to select the sample quantity that matches the number of items you placed on the platform.
4. Press [PCS] again to confirm. The display will show the count of the sample.
5. You can now add more items, and the scale will display the total count.
6. To exit counting mode, press the [MODE] button.

Calibration

Calibration ensures the highest accuracy of your scale. It is recommended to calibrate the scale periodically or if you suspect inaccurate readings. A 50g calibration weight is included with your scale.

1. Turn the scale on by pressing [ON/OFF].
2. Wait for the display to show "0.00".
