3. Operating Instructions

3.1. User Code Management

The LNDU D180 supports up to 3 administrator codes and 97 user codes, totaling 100 entry codes. This allows for flexible access management for family members, guests, or service providers.

Image 3.1: Keyless code capacity for various users.

To Add User Codes: Refer to the programming section of the complete manual for specific steps to add new user codes. Administrator codes have higher privileges for managing other codes and lock settings.

To Delete User Codes: The ability to delete individual user codes is a critical security feature. Please consult the full product manual for detailed instructions on how to remove specific passcodes. If the instructions are unclear, contact LNDU customer support for assistance.

3.2. Anti-Peeking Password Feature

This security feature enhances privacy by allowing you to enter random digits before and after your actual passcode. This prevents unauthorized individuals from discerning your code by observing your finger movements on the keypad.

  • Example: If your passcode is 123456, you can enter XXXXX123456XXXXX, where 'X' represents any random digit. The lock will still recognize the correct passcode within the sequence.

3.3. Automatic Locking

The lock can be configured to automatically lock after a set period (typically 10-30 seconds) once the door is closed. This feature provides added security and peace of mind.

Note: The auto-lock feature typically engages when the door is closed and the lock is in an unlocked state. If you unlock the door from the inside, the auto-lock may not immediately re-engage until the door is opened and closed again, or until a specific auto-lock timer expires after an external unlock.

3.4. One-Touch Locking

To quickly lock the door from the outside, simply press and hold the lock key on the keypad for 2 seconds.
