Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the ECONTROLLY universal replacement remote control, model TSDA-MES. This remote is designed to function as a direct replacement for original Marantz SR series receiver remote controls, offering immediate usability without complex programming.

Setup

The ECONTROLLY replacement remote control requires no programming or setup. Simply install the batteries, and it is ready for use.

1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Slide the battery cover downwards to open it.
3. Insert two (2) AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery cover by sliding it back into place until it clicks.

Note: Use new alkaline batteries for optimal performance. Rechargeable batteries may not provide sufficient power for consistent operation. Batteries are not included with the remote control.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

If the remote control's response becomes sluggish or inconsistent, replace the batteries. Always replace both batteries simultaneously with new alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
