5.2 Dry Vacuuming

For dry vacuuming, ensure a paper filter bag is installed in the container. The PES flat pleated filter is suitable for both wet and dry applications, but the paper bag is essential for efficient dry dust collection and protection of the main filter.

5.3 Wet Vacuuming

When vacuuming liquids, remove the paper filter bag if one is installed. The PES flat pleated filter can remain in place. The vacuum will automatically shut off when the liquid level in the container reaches its maximum capacity. Empty the container immediately after wet vacuuming to prevent overflow and damage.

5.4 Automatic Filter Cleaning (Tact² System)

The Tact² system automatically cleans the flat pleated filter during operation by periodically reversing the airflow. This ensures consistent suction power even when dealing with large amounts of fine dust. You may hear a brief change in motor sound during the cleaning cycles. This is normal operation.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Filter Cleaning and Replacement

Regularly check the condition of the PES flat pleated filter. While the Tact² system cleans it automatically, manual cleaning may be required for stubborn debris. The filter can be removed from the clean side of the unit, minimizing exposure to dust.

To clean the filter, gently tap it to dislodge dust or rinse it with water if heavily soiled (ensure it is completely dry before reinstallation). Replace the filter if it shows signs of damage or wear, or if suction performance significantly decreases despite cleaning.

6.2 Container Cleaning

After wet vacuuming, always empty and rinse the container thoroughly to prevent odors and bacterial growth. For dry vacuuming, empty the container when the filter bag is full or when suction power is reduced.

6.3 Accessory Care

Clean all accessories (hoses, tubes, nozzles) after each use to ensure optimal performance and prevent blockages. Store them in the integrated accessory holders to keep them organized and protected.
