Care and Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Ohniyou ceiling fan, regular cleaning and proper care are recommended.

• Cleaning: Ensure the fan is turned off and power is disconnected before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the blades and motor housing. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the finish.
• Blade Care: The fan blades are made of Premium ABS material. Periodically check for any dust buildup and wipe clean.
• Motor: The DC motor is designed for quiet and efficient operation. No special maintenance is required for the motor itself.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

If you encounter any issues with your Ohniyou ceiling fan, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

• Issue: Fan or Light Not Responding to Remote/App.
Solution: Ensure the fan has power from the wall switch. Check the batteries in the remote control and replace if necessary. For APP control, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone. Some users have found success by cycling the power to the fan (turn the wall switch off and on approximately 5 times) before attempting to re-pair with the app or remote.
• Issue: Fan Makes Unusual Noise.
Solution: Verify that all screws on the fan assembly and mounting bracket are tightened securely. Ensure the fan blades are properly installed and balanced. Check for any obstructions that might be interfering with the fan blades' rotation.
• Issue: Light is not dimming or changing color temperature.
Solution: Ensure you are using the correct buttons on the remote or app for dimming and color temperature adjustment. Note that lighting memory may not work with a wall switch.
