2. Important Safety Information
Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of burns, electric shock, fire, injury to persons, or exposure to excessive microwave energy.

3. Setup and Installation
The Empava EMPV-30OTR01 is designed for over-the-range installation. Proper installation is crucial for safety and performance. It is recommended that installation be performed by two people.

Installation Steps (Summary)
- Prepare the cabinet opening according to the provided template.
- Install the mounting plate to the wall studs.
- Lift the microwave into position and secure it to the mounting plate and upper cabinet.
- Connect the power supply.
- Install the turntable and turntable support.
4. Operating Instructions
Your Empava microwave oven features a screen touch control panel for intuitive operation.

Basic Cooking
- Time Cook: Enter desired cooking time using the number pad, then press 'START'.
- Power Level: Adjust power levels (1-10) for different cooking needs. Default is level 10 (1000 Watts).
- +30 Sec: Press 'START +30 SEC.' for quick 30-second cooking at full power, or to add 30 seconds to an ongoing cycle.
- Defrost: Use the 'DEFROST' function to thaw food by weight or time.
Pre-programmed Auto Menus
The microwave includes convenient one-touch auto menus for common food items:
- Veggies: For cooking various vegetables.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Interior Cleaning

Turntable and Support
The glass turntable and its support ring can be removed for cleaning. They are dishwasher-safe.

Vent Filters
The grease filters located on the underside of the microwave should be cleaned regularly. Remove them by sliding them out and wash with warm, soapy water or in a dishwasher.
