Product Overview

The Bluevua RO100ROPOT-UV Reverse Osmosis System is a countertop water filter designed to provide pure, healthy drinking water. It features a 6-stage advanced filtration system, including UV light and a remineralization filter, effectively reducing various contaminants while enriching water with essential minerals.

This system requires no plumbing or complex installation, making it highly portable and suitable for various settings such as kitchens, dormitories, RVs, and offices. Its premium-quality borosilicate glass carafe ensures no secondary pollution from plastic containers.

Setup Instructions

Setting up your Bluevua RO100ROPOT-UV system is straightforward and requires no plumbing. Follow these steps to begin using your water filter:

1. Fill the Raw Water Tank: Locate the raw water tank at the back of the unit. Fill it with tap water up to the maximum level indicated. Ensure the tank is securely placed back into its original position.

2. Place the Glass Carafe: Ensure the glass carafe is correctly positioned under the water dispenser spout.

3. Power On and Select Volume: Gently press the round water-making button on the control panel to activate the system. The system will begin to make pure water. You can cycle through different water volumes (e.g., 1/4, 1/2, full pitcher) by pressing the water volume button.

4. Initial Flushing: For the first 2 cycles, the tank water fills the new filters. It is normal if no or little purified water appears yet. The system will do an auto back-flushing for 18 seconds after each water-making cycle for the first 3 times it accumulates water (up to 30 minutes).

The system is now ready for use. Enjoy fresh, purified water!

Operating the System

The Bluevua RO100ROPOT-UV is designed for ease of use. Here are key aspects of its operation:

• Water Purification Process: The system purifies water through a 6-stage filtration process, including PP, CTO, RO, PCF, UV, and Mineral filters. This process effectively reduces TDS, PFOA, PFOS, Chlorine, Fluoride, Arsenic, Lead, and more.

• Smart LCD Display: The integrated LCD display provides real-time information on TDS levels (in and out), filter lifespan, and UV status. This allows for easy monitoring of water quality and filter health.
• Power and Water Saving: The system automatically enters a power-saving standby mode when not in use. It also boasts an impressive 2:1 Pure to Drain ratio, meaning less water is wasted. Leftover water from a cycle can be used for various household purposes (e.g., watering plants), but should not be reused for another filtration cycle as it can negatively impact taste and filter life.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Bluevua RO100ROPOT-UV system.

• Filter Replacement: The system's display monitors the service life of each of the four filters. Filters typically last between 12-24 months depending on usage. When a filter reaches its last bar on the display, it is recommended to order a replacement.

• Cleaning the Water Tank and Carafe: Periodically clean the raw water tank and the glass carafe to prevent any buildup. The glass carafe is constructed of high borosilicate glass, reducing the risk of secondary pollution.

Troubleshooting

While the Bluevua RO100ROPOT-UV is designed for reliability, here are some common considerations:

• Unusual Noise During Filtration: If the unit produces an unexpected strong noise during filtration, ensure all components are properly seated and the unit is on a stable, flat surface. If the noise persists, contact customer support.
• Water Taste Deterioration: If the taste of the purified water deteriorates, check the filter lifespan display. It may be time to replace one or more filters. Also, ensure you are not reusing the rejected water from the raw water tank for filtration, as this can negatively impact taste and filter life.
