Setup Guide

1. Unpacking and Inspection

Carefully unpack all components from the box. Verify that all items listed in the packing list are present and undamaged. If any items are missing or damaged, contact your vendor immediately.

2. Hardware Installation

Hard Drive Installation:

  1. Ensure the NVR is powered off and disconnected from all power sources.
  2. Remove the top cover of the NVR by unscrewing the retaining screws.
  3. Mount the hard drives into the designated bays using the provided screws.
  4. Connect the SATA data and power cables to each hard drive.
  5. Replace the top cover and secure it with the screws.

Connecting Peripherals:

  • Connect a monitor to the HDMI or VGA output port.
  • Connect a USB mouse to one of the USB ports for navigation.
  • Connect the NVR to your network using an Ethernet cable.
  • Connect IP cameras to the PoE ports on the rear of the NVR.

3. Initial Power-On and Configuration

Connect the power adapter to the NVR and a power outlet. The NVR will power on automatically. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the initial setup wizard, which includes setting the administrator password, network settings, and time zone.
