2. Setup
2.1 What's in the Box

Note: A SIM card is not included and must be acquired separately from your service provider.
2.2 Initial Power On and Activation
- Charge the Device: Connect the provided USB cable to the iPhone's Lightning port and the power adapter. Plug the adapter into a wall outlet. Allow the device to charge for at least 30 minutes before proceeding.
- Power On: Press and hold the Side button (on the right side of the phone) until the Apple logo appears.
- Follow On-Screen Instructions: The iPhone will guide you through the initial setup process, which includes selecting your language and region, connecting to Wi-Fi, setting up Touch ID, creating a passcode, and signing in with your Apple ID or creating a new one.

- Home Button: Press the Home button once to return to the Home screen. Double-press to open the App Switcher. Press and hold for Siri.
- Side Button: Press to wake or sleep the device. Press and hold to power off or activate Emergency SOS.
- Volume Buttons: Use the volume up (+) and volume down (-) buttons on the left side to adjust media and ringtone volume.
- Ring/Silent Switch: Toggle this switch on the left side to quickly switch between Ring and Silent modes.
- Touch ID: Use your fingerprint on the Home button for secure unlocking and purchases.

- Phone App: Tap the green Phone icon to make calls. Use the Keypad to dial numbers or select contacts from your Contacts list.
