3. Setup Instructions
3.1 Filling the Water Tank
- Ensure the appliance is unplugged and cool before filling.
- Unscrew the safety cap located on top of the boiler.
- Using the provided funnel, carefully fill the boiler with exactly 54 fl. oz. (approx. 1.6 liters) of water.
- If your tap water contains a lot of limescale, it is recommended to use a 50% tap water and 50% distilled water mixture to prevent mineral deposits from clogging the steamer and reducing pressure.
- To further reduce limescale formation, consider using Polti Kalstop (PANA0001) anti-limescale product.
- Securely screw the safety cap back on.

3.2 Attaching Accessories
- Connect the desired accessory (e.g., Vaporforce brush, extension tubes, small brushes) to the flexible steam hose or directly to the handheld unit.
- Ensure all connections are secure before use.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On and Heating
- Plug the appliance into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Press the power button. The "steam ready" indicator light will illuminate when the appliance has reached the optimal temperature, typically within 5 minutes.
4.2 Adjusting Steam Flow
- The steam flow can be adjusted from low to medium to high using the control dial on the unit.
- Use low steam for delicate surfaces or light cleaning.
- Medium or high steam is suitable for heavily soiled areas or robust surfaces.
- Choose between continuous steam flow or on-demand pulse steam by pressing the steam activation button on the handle.
4.3 Cleaning Various Surfaces
The POLTI Vaporetto Smart Steam Mop is designed for multi-surface cleaning. Always test on an inconspicuous area first.
4.3.1 Hard Floors (Tile, Hardwood)
- Attach the Vaporforce brush with a microfiber cloth.
- Move the mop head slowly over the floor surface to allow the steam to penetrate and clean.
- For grout, use a small nylon brush with the curved steam concentrator for targeted cleaning.

4.3.2 Carpets and Rugs
- Attach the carpet glider over the Vaporforce brush.
- Use low steam to deodorize, renew, and refresh carpets.
- Move the mop head steadily across the carpet.

4.3.3 Windows and Mirrors
- Attach the window squeegee accessory.
- Apply steam to the glass surface and then use the squeegee to remove moisture and dirt.
4.3.4 Upholstery and Furniture
- Use appropriate small brushes or the steam concentrator for upholstery.
- Hold the accessory a short distance from the fabric and apply steam in short bursts. Do not oversaturate.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Descaling the Boiler
- Regular descaling is crucial for maintaining optimal performance and extending the life of your steam cleaner.
- Use Polti Kalstop (PANA0001) anti-limescale product as directed by the manufacturer to prevent and remove limescale buildup.
- Follow the instructions provided with the descaling product for proper application.
5.2 Cleaning and Storage
- After each use, unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely.
- Empty any remaining water from the boiler.
- Microfiber pads and cloths are typically machine washable (refer to their specific care labels).
- Wipe down the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth.
- Store the appliance and its accessories in a dry, safe place.
6. Troubleshooting
