4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Mounting the Monitor

  1. Choose a suitable location on your dashboard that does not obstruct your view or interfere with driving.
  2. Clean the dashboard surface thoroughly.
  3. Attach the bracket to the monitor.
  4. Secure the monitor with the bracket to the dashboard using the provided adhesive sticker or screws.

4.2 Camera Installation

Install the four cameras in desired locations (e.g., front, rear, left side, right side) ensuring a clear field of view. The cameras are IP69 waterproof for outdoor use.

  1. Mount each camera securely using the provided screws.
  2. Route the camera cables to the main monitor unit. Use the appropriate length extension cords (5m or 15m).
  3. Connect each camera cable to the corresponding input (CH1, CH2, CH3, CH4) on the monitor's wiring harness.

4.3 Power Connection

  1. Connect the main power cable to the monitor unit.
  2. Plug the cigarette lighter power cord into your vehicle's 12-24V cigarette lighter socket.
  3. For advanced installation, the power cable can be hardwired to the vehicle's ACC (Accessory) and GND (Ground) for automatic power on/off with the ignition.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: The system will typically power on automatically with the vehicle's ignition if hardwired, or manually via the power button if connected to the cigarette lighter.
  • Touchscreen Navigation: Use the touchscreen to navigate through menus and select functions.

5.2 Wireless CarPlay Connection (for iPhone)

  1. On your iPhone, open "Settings".
  2. Turn on "Bluetooth".

  2. Open the app on your phone.
  3. Find and connect to the host's WiFi network.

5.6 DVR Recording and 4-Way Monitoring

  • The system automatically begins 4K video recording when powered on.
  • Recordings are stored on a TF card (not included). Ensure a compatible TF card is inserted into the slot.
  • The monitor can display feeds from all four cameras simultaneously, or switch between individual camera views.
  • Loop recording ensures continuous recording by overwriting the oldest files when the storage is full.

5.7 Parking Monitor (Optional)
