Setup

1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the Vormor X5. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the device's USB interface and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator on the screen will show progress.

2. Powering On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the Turn-off Button until the screen lights up.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the Turn-off Button until a power-off prompt appears on the screen, then confirm.
• To Lock/Unlock Screen: Briefly press the Turn-off Button.

3. Connecting to Wi-Fi

1. From the main menu, tap on the "Settings" icon.
2. Select "Wi-Fi" and toggle it ON.
3. Choose your desired Wi-Fi network from the list.
4. Enter the Wi-Fi password using the on-screen keyboard and tap "Connect".
5. A successful connection will be indicated by the Wi-Fi icon on the status bar.

Operating Instructions

1. Text Scan Translation

This feature allows you to scan printed text and receive instant translation and text-to-speech output.

1. From the main menu, tap "Text Scan Translation".
2. Select your source and target languages.
3. Place the OCR scan line flat against the text you wish to translate.
4. Press the scanning button (or the main button on the front) and smoothly drag the pen across the text.
5. The scanned text will appear on the screen, followed by its translation and audio pronunciation.

2. Phonetic Translation (Voice)

Engage in real-time two-way voice conversations with this feature.

1. Tap "Phonetic Translation" from the main menu.
2. Set the two languages for translation (e.g., English to Chinese).
3. Press and hold the left side button to speak in the first language. Release to translate.
4. Press and hold the right side button to speak in the second language. Release to translate.
5. The translation will appear on the screen and be spoken aloud.

3. Photo Translation

Translate text from images, signs, or menus using the built-in camera.

1. Tap "Photo Translation" from the main menu.
2. Point the camera at the text you want to translate.

4. Text Excerpt

1. After scanning text using "Text Scan Translation", you will have the option to save the excerpt.
2. Tap the "Text Excerpt" icon from the main menu to view your saved excerpts.

5. Intelligent Recording
