5. Maintenance
5.1. Cleaning the Sink
Regular cleaning is essential to maintain the appearance and longevity of your stainless steel sink. Wipe with a dry cloth after each use to prevent water spots and mineral buildup. For general cleaning, use mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or steel wool, which can scratch the surface.

5.2. Preventing Clogs
Regularly empty and clean the removable filter basket in the drain to prevent food and debris from accumulating and causing clogs. The thickened PP drain pipe is designed for efficient drainage, but proper maintenance of the filter basket is key.
6. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your utility sink.
| Issue | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Faucet leaking | Loose connections, faulty ceramic valve core | Check and tighten all faucet connections. If leaking persists, the ceramic valve core may need inspection or replacement. |
| Slow drainage | Clogged filter basket, obstruction in drain pipe | Remove and clean the filter basket. Inspect the drain pipe for any blockages and clear them. |
| Sink is unstable/wobbly | Uneven surface, improperly adjusted legs | Adjust the leveling feet on each leg until the sink is stable. Ensure all frame connections are tight. |
| Rust spots on stainless steel | Exposure to corrosive substances, improper cleaning, hard water deposits | Clean immediately with a non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner. Avoid prolonged contact with acidic foods or harsh chemicals. Wipe dry after use. |
