4. Setup and Installation
The NCORE 100 MAX is designed for easy assembly. Follow these steps for a smooth build process.
4.1. Case Disassembly
The case features a tool-less design for easy access to internal components.
- Pull off the outer panels.
- Remove the top panel.
- Unlock the corner cable cover's tool-less latches, rotate the cable cover, and then remove it.

4.2. Motherboard Installation
Install your Mini-ITX motherboard into the case. The case supports both Intel and AMD motherboards.
- Place the bracket on the back of the motherboard (after CPU installation, please see motherboard's manual).
- Mount the four standoffs and tighten each by hand.
- Place the motherboard into the case by sliding it in, back IO panel first.
- Tighten the 4 screws to secure the motherboard.
- Install the 8-pin EPS cable.
- Install the 24-pin EPS cable.
- Install front panel connector for Power button.
- Install USB connectors.
- Plug in HD audio connector.

4.3. CPU Cooler Installation (AIO)
The NCORE 100 MAX comes with a pre-installed custom 120mm AIO liquid cooler for optimal CPU cooling.
- Install two brackets on the pump.
- Apply a pea-sized drop of thermal paste to the center of the CPU.
- Remove the foil and lightly place the cooling block face down on the CPU.
- Apply the 4 nuts to the standoffs, and gently tighten by hand.
- Tighten the 4 nuts with a screwdriver, alternating between each after every turn and being careful not to over tighten.
- Connect the pump's 3-pin header to the motherboard's "AIO pump" header.
- Connect the radiator fan's 4-pin cable to the "CPU-fan" header.
- Connect the rear fan's 4-pin cable to the "CHA-FAN" or "Chassis fan" header.

4.4. Graphics Card Installation
The NCORE 100 MAX supports various GPU sizes. Ensure proper placement and connection of the PCIe 4.0 riser cable.
- Install the GPU, ensuring that the PCIe connector is placed properly in its slot.
- Tighten the GPU screws.
- Install the 16-pin power connector, ensuring it is properly seated.

- GPUs up to 337mm in length and 62mm thick: 5:10 - 5:41 in the video.

4.5. SSD Installation
Install your 2.5" SSD drives.
- Tighten the tool-less SSD mounting pins by hand.
- Connect the SATA power cable to the PSU.
- Connect the SATA data cable to the SSD.
- Fit the pins into the bottom panel rubber rings. (Tip: align the back two pins first).

4.6. Cable Management
The NCORE 100 MAX comes with pre-routed cables for the integrated PSU and AIO, simplifying cable management. Ensure all cables are neatly tucked away to maintain optimal airflow.

4.7. Reassembly
- Install the front cable cover and lock it into place by hand.
- Install the top cover by hand.
- Install the external panels by hand.

5. Operating Instructions
Once all components are installed and secured, connect your peripherals and power cable. Press the power button on the front panel to start your system. Ensure all fans are spinning and no unusual noises are present.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean dust filters and internal components using compressed air. Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
- Thermal Paste: Reapply thermal paste to the CPU every 2-3 years or if CPU temperatures are consistently high.
- Cable Management: Periodically check cable routing to ensure no cables are obstructing airflow or fan blades.
