3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Device

  3. The screen will indicate charging status. A full charge provides up to 8 hours of continuous use and 7 days of standby time.

3.2 Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Turn On/Off button until the screen illuminates.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Turn On/Off button until a power-off prompt appears on the screen, then confirm.

3.3 Network Connection (Wi-Fi/Hotspot)

For online translation features, connect the device to a Wi-Fi network or mobile hotspot:

  1. From the main menu, tap the 'Setting' icon.
  2. Select 'Wi-Fi' from the settings menu.
  3. Toggle Wi-Fi to 'On'.

  5. Enter the network password if prompted and tap 'Connect'.

4.1 Scan Translation

The scan translation feature allows you to scan text and receive instant translations. It supports online translation in 55 languages and offline translation for Chinese, English, and Japanese.

  1. From the main menu, tap the 'Scan Translation' icon.
  2. Select the source and target languages.
  3. Position the OCR scan line over the text you wish to translate.
  4. Gently glide the pen across the text. The device will scan up to 3000 characters per minute.
  5. The translated text will appear on the screen and be read aloud.

4.2 Voice Translation

Engage in real-time two-way voice conversations with support for 112 languages and multinational accents.

  1. Tap the 'Phonetic Translation' icon from the main menu.
  2. Select the two languages for the conversation.

  4. Release the button, and the device will translate and speak the phrase in the target language.
