Important: This deck light is intended for installation in accordance with the National Electric Code (NEC) and local code specifications. Always turn off the main power supply before installation or maintenance to prevent electric shock.
- Risk of electric shock. Ensure the main power supply is turned off before any work.
- Install fixtures at least 10 feet (3.05m) or more from a pool, spa, or fountain.
- All parts must be used as indicated in these instructions. Do not substitute any parts, omit parts, or use worn or broken components.
- Use approved and listed wire connection devices suitable for the application.
- The operating voltage range for this product is 12V-24V AC/DC only.

5. Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation:
- Turn off Power: Ensure the main power supply to the installation area is completely turned off before starting any work.
- Determine Location and Drill Hole: Select the desired location for each light fixture. Using a standard 1" (2.5cm) spade bit, drill a hole at least 0.63" (1.6cm) deep. If the material is thicker than 0.63" (1.6cm), use a 3/8" (8.25mm) drill bit to create a through-hole for the wires.
- Insert Fixture: Lead the fixture's wire through the drilled hole. Press the fixture into the hole, ensuring it is oriented correctly. The integrated fins around the barrel will securely hold the light in place. If necessary, use adhesive for additional security.
- Prepare Wires: Strip approximately 1/2 inch of insulation from the two leads of the fixture's pigtail wire.
- Connect Wires: Using the provided silicone-filled safety connectors (wire nuts) or other certified wire connection devices, connect the stripped leads from the fixture to the main low voltage supply cable leads. Ensure connections are secure and waterproof.
- Power On: Once all fixtures are installed and wired, restore power to the main supply.
Note: A 12V transformer is required for operation and is not included with this product. Compatible GKOLED transformers (sold separately) include models B08N5WM5SS (120W) and B09LHF1ZF7 (300W).

6. Operation
Once properly installed and connected to a compatible 12V-24V AC/DC power supply, the GKOLED Recessed LED Step Riser Light will illuminate when power is supplied. The internal LED board features a 30-degree tilt, directing light downwards to minimize glare and provide effective illumination for steps and pathways.

7. Maintenance
These GKOLED LED Step Riser Lights are designed for long-term, low-maintenance use. The durable die-cast aluminum housing with a powder coat finish and sealed LED module ensures durability and insulation against water.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the surface of the light fixtures with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt or debris. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Inspection: Occasionally inspect the wiring and connections for any signs of wear or damage. Ensure all connections remain secure.
- Bulb Replacement: The integrated LED technology means there is no need to constantly replace bulbs. The lights are designed for long-term use.

8. Troubleshooting
