Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain packaging materials for future storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the unit on a firm, level surface in the desired location. Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of clear space around all sides of the dehumidifier to allow for proper airflow. Avoid placing it directly against walls or furniture. This dehumidifier is suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, basements, bathrooms, and closets.
  3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the specifications of the unit.
  4. Water Tank: Ensure the water tank is correctly seated in the unit. The unit will not operate if the tank is not properly installed or is full.

Operation

Power On/Off:

  • To turn the dehumidifier ON, press the ON/OFF button on the control panel. The running indicator light will illuminate.
  • To turn the dehumidifier OFF, press the ON/OFF button again.

Auto Shut-off Function:

The dehumidifier is equipped with an automatic shut-off feature. When the water tank is full or not properly positioned, the unit will automatically turn off. The FULL indicator light will turn red, and an alarm beep will sound to alert you to empty the water tank.

5 Colorful LED Lights:

Upon powering on, the LED light will automatically illuminate. You can change the color of the light by gently touching the metal ring on the control panel for 2 seconds. Continue touching to cycle through the available colors: Blue (Default), Purple, Orange, Changing Colorful Lights, and Light Off. You can choose to turn the light off completely if desired.

Maintenance

Emptying the Water Tank:

When the water tank is full, the dehumidifier will automatically shut off, the FULL indicator will turn red, and an alarm will sound. To empty the tank:

  1. Gently pull out the water tank from the front of the unit.
  2. Carefully remove the lid of the water tank.
  3. Pour out the collected water.
  4. Replace the lid and slide the empty water tank back into the dehumidifier until it clicks into place. Ensure it is securely seated to resume operation.

Cleaning the Dehumidifier:

  • Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior of the dehumidifier with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Clean the water tank regularly with mild soap and water to prevent mold and mildew growth. Rinse thoroughly and dry before reinserting.
  • Periodically check the air inlet and outlet for dust accumulation. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner attachment to gently remove any dust.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your NineSky Dehumidifier, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
