3. Setup and Assembly Instructions

Assembly typically takes 1-2 hours for one person. Follow the steps below carefully. It is recommended to assemble the desk on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out. Check against the package contents list.
  2. Assemble Desk Legs: Attach the lifting columns to the foot supports using the provided hardware. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.
  3. Install Crossbars: Connect the crossbars between the two lifting columns. This forms the main frame of the desk.
  4. Attach Tabletop Segments: Place the four tabletop segments onto the assembled frame. Align them carefully and secure them using the designated screws. Note that the tabletop consists of multiple segments, which should be joined seamlessly.
  5. Mount Control Panel: Attach the control panel to the underside of the tabletop in a convenient location, typically on the front edge.
  6. Install Cable Management Tray: Secure the cable management tray to the underside of the tabletop, usually at the rear, to organize power cords and other cables.
  7. Connect Electronics: Connect the motor cables from the lifting columns to the control box. Connect the control panel cable to the control box. Finally, connect the power adapter to the control box and plug it into a power outlet.
  8. Choose Feet or Wheels: Decide whether to use the adjustable feet for stationary placement or the optional wheels for mobility. If using wheels, ensure they are locked when the desk is in position.

Important: Ensure all electrical connections are secure before plugging the desk into a power source. Do not force any components during assembly.

4. Operating Instructions

Your Devoko desk features intuitive controls for height adjustment and memory functions.

4.1 Height Adjustment

  • To Raise: Press and hold the "Up" arrow button until the desired height is reached.
  • To Lower: Press and hold the "Down" arrow button until the desired height is reached.

4.2 Memory Presets

The control panel includes 3 memory buttons to save and recall your preferred sitting and standing heights.

  1. Set a Memory Position: Adjust the desk to your desired height using the Up/Down buttons. Press the "M" button, then immediately press one of the numbered memory buttons (1, 2, or 3). The display will show "S-" followed by the number, indicating the position is saved.
  2. Recall a Memory Position: Simply press the corresponding numbered memory button (1, 2, or 3). The desk will automatically move to the saved height.

4.3 USB-A Charging Port

The integrated USB-A charging port on the control panel provides convenient power for your devices. Simply connect your device's USB cable to the port to begin charging. This eliminates the need for additional wall adapters and keeps your workspace tidy.

4.4 Anti-Collision System

The desk is equipped with an anti-collision system that detects obstacles during height adjustment. If the desk encounters an obstruction, it will automatically stop and reverse slightly to prevent damage. This system enhances safety during operation.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Devoko desk.

  • Cleaning: Wipe the desk surface and frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the finish.
  • Cable Management: Periodically check and organize cables in the management tray to prevent tangles and ensure smooth operation.
  • Screw Tightness: Occasionally check all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary.
  • Motor Inspection: Listen for any unusual noises during operation. If you notice any issues, refer to the troubleshooting section or contact support.
