Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Ensure the tool is switched off.
- Align the battery pack with the tool's battery port.
- Slide the battery pack into the tool until it clicks securely into place. To remove, press the release button and pull the battery pack out.
2. Guard Adjustment
The guard must always be used. Adjust the guard to protect against sparks and debris based on your application.

The side handle can be installed on either side of the gear case for optimal control.
- Thread the side handle into one of the threaded holes on the gear case.
- Tighten securely by hand.
