Setup

Unpacking and Placement

  • Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging.
  • Place the unit upright on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is at least 8 inches of space around the unit for proper air circulation.
  • Allow the unit to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in to allow the refrigerant to settle.

Drainage Options

Your SAHAUHY dehumidifier offers three drainage methods:

  1. Manual Draining: The unit collects water in its 1.14-gallon internal water tank. When the tank is full, the unit will automatically stop operation and an indicator will light up. Empty the tank by pulling it out using the integrated handle.
  2. Automatic Drainage: For continuous operation without manual emptying, connect the included 3.3 ft drain hose to the drainage port on the back of the unit. Ensure the hose is positioned downwards to allow gravity drainage.
  3. Portable Drainage: The unit can also be connected to a standard garden hose (not included) for extended continuous drainage.

  • Turn off and unplug the unit before cleaning.
  • Remove the filter from the back of the unit.
  • Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.
