1. Setup
1.1 Battery Installation
The ECONTROLLY STV106 remote control requires two (2) AA batteries for operation. Batteries are not included with the remote control.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Slide the battery cover downwards or press the release tab (if present) to open the compartment.
- Insert two new AA alkaline batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals match the diagrams inside the compartment. Using new alkaline batteries is recommended for optimal performance. Rechargeable batteries may not provide sufficient power.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Operating Instructions
Once batteries are installed, the remote control is ready for use with compatible Sharp Soundbar models, including 92LRC105001372, HT-SBW110, HT-SB110, and HT-SB115. No programming or setup is required.

2.1 Basic Functions
- Power Button (⏻): Turns the soundbar on or off.
- Mute Button: Mutes or unmutes the sound.
- Volume Up (VOL+): Increases the soundbar volume.
- Volume Down (VOL-): Decreases the soundbar volume.
- Optical: Selects the Optical input source.
- HDMI ARC: Selects the HDMI ARC input source.
- AUX: Selects the Auxiliary input source.
- BT (Bluetooth): Selects the Bluetooth input source and can initiate pairing mode.
- Playback Controls (⏮, ⏯, ⏸/PAIR): Control media playback (previous track, next track, play/pause). The Play/Pause button may also function as a pairing button for Bluetooth.
- NEWS, MOVIE, MUSIC: Selects preset sound modes optimized for different content types.
Point the remote control directly at the infrared receiver on your soundbar for proper operation. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the soundbar.
3. Maintenance
3.1 Cleaning
To clean the remote control, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, abrasive pads, or chemical solvents, as these can damage the surface or internal components.
3.2 Battery Replacement
Replace batteries when the remote control's response becomes sluggish or stops working. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AA alkaline batteries. Remove batteries if the remote will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
4. Troubleshooting
4.1 Remote Not Responding
- Check Batteries: Ensure batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity and are not depleted. Replace with new alkaline batteries if necessary.
- Line of Sight: Verify there are no obstructions between the remote control and the soundbar's infrared sensor.
- Distance: Ensure you are within the effective operating range (approximately 33 feet or 10 meters) of the soundbar.
4.2 Limited Functionality
- If only some buttons work, or the remote behaves erratically, try replacing the batteries with a fresh set of alkaline batteries.
- Confirm that your soundbar model is listed as compatible. While this remote is designed for specific Sharp Soundbar models, functionality may vary slightly with other devices.
