Key Features:
- FreeSpeed One-Step Tightening System: Allows for rapid deployment and adjustment of all four leg sections by tightening a single knob.
- Thickened Carbon Fiber Material: 1.2mm thick carbon fiber tubes provide a balance of lightweight design (3 lbs / 1.38 kg) and professional stability.

5. Setup and Assembly
5.1 Unfolding the Tripod and Adjusting Leg Height
The AP-100 features a FreeSpeed one-step tightening system for quick setup. Simply rotate the single knob on each leg to unlock all four sections simultaneously. Extend the legs to the desired height and rotate the knob back to lock them in place. The tripod can be adjusted from 5 inches (13 cm) to 59 inches (150 cm).

5.2 Attaching Your Camera
The tripod features an Arca-type compatible quick release mount plate. Attach your camera to the quick release plate by screwing the camera's 1/4"-20 thread onto the plate. Then, slide the plate with the camera into the ball head and secure it with the quick-lock lever.

5.3 Adjusting the Central Column
The central column can be adjusted for additional height using its quick-lock lever. For low-angle shooting, the central column can be removed. To remove, rotate the column two full turns to disengage the anti-loosening mechanism, then pull it out. Note: Over-rotating may trigger the anti-loosening mechanism, making removal difficult.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Vertical Shooting
The ball head allows for easy switching to vertical shooting mode. Simply loosen the ball head adjustment lever, tilt your camera to the vertical position, and re-tighten the lever to secure it.
6.2 Using Spiked Feet
For enhanced stability on soft or uneven surfaces, the silicone feet pads can be unscrewed to reveal built-in metal spikes. Ensure the spikes are fully extended and firmly planted before use.

6.3 Expansion Interfaces
The tripod includes a 1/4"-20 threaded hole for attaching various accessories such as magic arms, monitors, or lights. This allows for a more versatile setup.
7. Maintenance
- Clean the tripod regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the carbon fiber or metal components.
- Periodically check all screws and locking mechanisms for tightness. Use the provided Allen wrench for adjustments as needed.
- Store the tripod in its carrying bag in a dry, cool place to protect it from dust and moisture.
8. Troubleshooting
- Legs not extending/retracting smoothly: Ensure the one-step tightening knob is fully loosened. Clean any dirt or debris from the leg sections.
- Central column difficult to remove: If the central column is over-rotated, the anti-loosening mechanism may engage. Gently rotate it back and try again, ensuring only two full turns for unlocking.
- Tripod instability: Verify that all leg sections are fully extended and locked, and the leg angle locks are engaged. Ensure the camera is securely mounted on the quick release plate and the ball head is tightened.
- Camera not holding position on ball head: Confirm the ball head adjustment lever is fully tightened. Ensure the camera's weight does not exceed the ball head's capacity.
