4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 2 x AAA 1.5V batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover. The device will power on automatically.

5.2 Temperature Unit Selection (°C/°F)
- On the front of the device, locate the touch button labeled "°C/°F".
- Tap this button to switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) temperature display. The default unit is Celsius.
5.3 Backlight Operation
- Locate the touch button with a light bulb icon.
- Tap this button to activate the backlight for easier viewing in dark environments. The backlight will automatically turn off after a short period to conserve battery.

5.4 Max/Min Records and 24-Hour Reset
- The device automatically records the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity readings every 10 seconds.
- To view the 24-hour high and low records, locate the touch button labeled "ALL TIME / 24 HRS".
- Tap this button to cycle through the current readings, 24-hour high, and 24-hour low records.
- The records will automatically reset every 24 hours.
5.5 Comfort Level Indicator
The device displays a comfort level indicator (DRY, COMFORT, WET) based on the current humidity:
- DRY: Humidity below 30%
- COMFORT: Humidity between 30% and 60%
- WET: Humidity above 60%
