4. Setup and Assembly
Assembly is required for this product. It is recommended to have at least two people for easier and safer assembly.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, flat surface. Check against the package contents list.
- Assemble Main Cage: Begin by assembling the main chicken cage unit. Follow the included diagrams (if any, assume general instructions). Secure all frame pieces with the provided hardware. Ensure the door mechanism operates smoothly.
- Attach Extension Cages: Connect the 7 extension cages to the main unit and to each other using the designated connectors and hardware. Ensure a tight and secure fit between each section to prevent gaps.
- Install Mesh Panels: Secure the mesh panels to the frame of each cage section. Ensure the mesh is taut and fully covers all open sides to prevent escape or intrusion.
- Install Roof Cover: Drape the water-resistant cover roof over the assembled frame. Secure it firmly to prevent it from being dislodged by wind.
- Final Check: Inspect the entire structure to ensure all connections are secure, the door latches properly, and there are no sharp edges or loose parts.

5. Operating Instructions
- Placement: Choose a suitable outdoor location that is level and provides adequate drainage. Consider sun exposure and wind protection for your animals.
- Animal Introduction: Gently introduce your animals to the enclosure. Ensure they have access to food, water, and any necessary shelter within the coop.
- Access: Use the lockable door for convenient access to feed, water, and interact with your animals. Always ensure the latch is securely closed after entry or exit to keep animals safe inside and predators out.
- Ventilation: The mesh design provides natural ventilation. Ensure no obstructions block airflow.
6. Maintenance
- Regular Cleaning: Clean the interior of the coop regularly to maintain hygiene for your animals. Remove droppings and old bedding.
- Frame Inspection: Periodically check the galvanized steel frame for any signs of rust, damage, or loose connections. Tighten bolts as needed.
- Mesh Inspection: Inspect the mesh for any tears, holes, or weak points that could compromise animal safety or allow predators entry. Repair or replace damaged sections promptly.
- Roof Cover Care: Clean the water-resistant roof cover as needed. Ensure it remains securely attached, especially during strong winds or heavy precipitation.
- Winterization (if applicable): In colder climates, consider adding extra insulation or windbreaks around the lower parts of the coop for animal comfort.
7. Troubleshooting
- Wobbly Structure: Ensure all bolts and connectors are fully tightened. Verify the coop is placed on a level surface.
- Door Not Latching: Check for any obstructions in the latch mechanism. Ensure the door frame is properly aligned. Adjust hinges if necessary.
- Water Accumulation on Roof: Ensure the roof cover is properly tensioned and angled to allow water runoff. Clear any debris that might be pooling water.
- Animals Escaping: Thoroughly inspect the entire enclosure for any small gaps or holes in the mesh or between panels. Secure any identified openings.
