3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Mouse

Before first use, fully charge the mouse. The magnetic charging dock provides a convenient charging solution.

  1. Connect the charging dock to a power source using the provided USB-C cable.
  2. Place the mouse onto the magnetic charging dock. Ensure the charging pins align.
  3. The RGB lighting on the dock will indicate charging status. A 10-minute charge can provide approximately 5 hours of use.

3.2 Connectivity Modes

The Attack Shark X6 supports three connection modes: 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.2, and wired USB-C.

2.4GHz Wireless Mode:

  1. Locate the USB receiver (dongle) stored in the mouse's underside.
  2. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Slide the mode switch on the bottom of the mouse to the '2.4G' position.
  4. The mouse should connect automatically.

Bluetooth 5.2 Mode:

  1. Slide the mode switch on the bottom of the mouse to the 'BT' position.
  2. Press and hold the Bluetooth switch button (Button 3 in Figure 2) for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. The indicator light will flash.
  3. On your device (PC, tablet, phone), go to Bluetooth settings and search for 'Attack Shark X6'.
  4. Select the mouse to pair. The indicator light will become solid once connected.
  5. The mouse supports connecting to multiple Bluetooth devices (BT1, BT2, BT3). Use the Bluetooth switch button to cycle between paired devices.

Wired USB-C Mode:

  1. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the front port of the mouse and the other end to your computer.
  2. Slide the mode switch on the bottom of the mouse to the 'Wired' position.
  3. The mouse will function as a wired mouse and charge simultaneously.

3.3 Griptape Application

The package includes non-slip griptape for enhanced grip and customization.

  1. Ensure the mouse surface is clean and dry.
  2. Carefully peel the griptape pieces from their backing.
  3. Align and apply the griptape to the desired areas of the mouse, typically the sides and main click buttons.
  4. Press firmly to ensure good adhesion.

3.4 Software Installation

To unlock full customization options, including button remapping, DPI settings, lift-off distance, and macro settings, download and install the official Attack Shark software from the manufacturer's website.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To maintain performance, regularly clean your mouse.

  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the mouse.
