1. Introduction

It features four selectable programs for various milk preparations, an intuitive LED indicator, and a non-stick interior for easy cleaning. 2. Safety Information

4. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials. Keep packaging for future storage or disposal.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the inner container, whisk, and lid with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry all parts completely. Do not immerse the base unit in water.
- Placement: Place the frother base on a dry, stable, and heat-resistant surface, away from water sources and direct heat. Ensure the power cord is not tangled and is safely routed.
- Attach Whisk: Ensure the whisk is correctly placed at the bottom of the inner container.
- Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (220-240V, 50Hz).
5. Operating Instructions
The SMAS 500 C3 offers four distinct programs for various milk preparations. The LED ring around the power button indicates the selected program (red for warm, blue for cold).
- Fill Milk: Pour the desired amount of milk into the inner container. Observe the fill level markings:
- Minimum milk quantity: 75 ml
- Maximum for heating milk (without frothing): 300 ml
- Maximum for frothing milk: 150 ml (to prevent overflow)
- Close Lid: Place the lid securely on the frother.
- Select Program: Press the central power button repeatedly to cycle through the four programs. The LED ring will illuminate to indicate the selected program:
- Red LED, Program 1: Warm and firm foam.
- Red LED, Program 2: Warm and creamy foam.
- Red LED, Program 3: Heat milk with little foam.
- Blue LED, Program 4: Cold foam.
- Start Operation: Once the desired program is selected, the frother will automatically start.
- Completion: The appliance will automatically shut off once the program is complete. The LED light will turn off.
- Serve: Carefully remove the lid and pour the frothed or heated milk. The container is wireless and rotates 360° on its base for easy pouring.
Note: For best results, use cold milk directly from the refrigerator.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your milk frother. Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- Unplug: Disconnect the frother from the power outlet and allow it to cool down completely.
- Remove Whisk and Lid: Carefully remove the whisk from the bottom of the container and detach the lid.
- Clean Inner Container: The non-stick inner container should be cleaned immediately after each use to prevent milk residue from drying. Wash with warm water and a mild dish soap using a soft sponge or cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers, as this can damage the premium ILAG non-stick coating. Rinse thoroughly.
- Clean Whisk and Lid: Wash the whisk and lid under running water with mild soap. Ensure all milk residue is removed.
- Clean Base Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit and the base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the main unit or base in water.
- Dry Thoroughly: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing the appliance.
- Storage: Store the frother in a clean, dry place. The base unit has cable storage for neat organization.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your milk frother, refer to the following table for common problems and solutions:
