Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the assembly, operation, and maintenance of your VECELO Full Bed Frame with Upholstered Linen Headboard and Footboard. Please read this manual thoroughly before assembly and use to ensure safe and proper installation and longevity of your product.

The VECELO Metal Platform Bed Frame combines a matte black metal frame with a gray linen upholstered headboard and footboard, featuring silver rivet accents for a modern and elegant design. It offers robust support and comfort without the need for a box spring.

Setup and Assembly

The VECELO bed frame features a slot-in design and foldable parts for easy assembly. It is recommended to assemble the bed frame with two people.

Assembly Steps:

1. Prepare the Headboard and Footboard: Attach the support legs to the upholstered headboard and footboard using the provided screws and Allen key. Ensure they are securely fastened.
2. Connect Side Rails: Unfold the side rails and align them with the headboard and footboard. Insert the side rail hooks into the corresponding slots on the headboard and footboard. Secure with the appropriate screws and washers.
3. Install Center Support Bar: Position the center support bar across the width of the frame, connecting the two side rails. Secure it with screws. Ensure the support legs on the center bar are properly extended and stable.
4. Place Bed Slats: Unroll the noise-reducing padded strip (part N) and fit it onto the bed slats (part 10). The length of part N can be cut as needed. Place the metal bed slats into the designated slots on the side rails. The embedded design helps prevent mattress sliding.
5. Final Tightening: Once all components are in place, carefully tighten all screws using the Allen key. Do not overtighten.

Operating Instructions

This bed frame is designed for immediate use upon proper assembly. No box spring is needed as the metal slats provide ample support for your mattress.

• Place your mattress directly onto the assembled metal slats.
• Ensure the mattress is centered and fits within the frame to prevent shifting.
• The recommended mattress height is 6" - 12" for optimal aesthetic and functional integration with the headboard.
• The padded strip on the slats helps prevent mattress slippage and reduces noise, ensuring a quiet sleep environment.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the metal frame with a soft, damp cloth. For the linen upholstered parts, use a fabric cleaner suitable for linen or spot clean with a mild detergent and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Regular Checks: Periodically (e.g., every 3-6 months) inspect all bolts and connections to ensure they are tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain stability and prevent squeaking.
• Underbed Space: The 12.6-inch clearance under the bed allows for easy cleaning with a vacuum or broom, or for convenient storage of items in boxes.
