1. Force Adjustment Knob: Located at the top, used to adjust stapling power.

Staple Compatibility

This 3-in-1 staple gun is compatible with three types of staples:

• Type D Staples (U-shaped): Also known as Type 140 or T50. Dimensions: A: 10.6mm, B: 8mm, C: 1.2mm. Ideal for general fastening.
• Type T Staples (Straight/Brad Nails): Also known as Type 18 gauge brad nails. Dimensions: A: 15mm, B: 2mm, C: 1.2mm. Suitable for delicate work or when a less visible fastener is desired.

Setup: Loading Staples

Follow these steps to load staples into your ValueMax staple gun:

1. Step 1: Release the Magazine. Press the Release Latch at the bottom rear of the staple gun and pull out the loading rod.
2. Step 2: Insert Staples. Place the strip of staples into the magazine with the staple points facing downwards. Ensure the staples are of the correct type and size for your project.
3. Step 3: Reinsert Loading Rod. Push the loading rod back into the magazine until it clicks into place, securing the staples.
4. Step 4: Lock the Magazine. Ensure the magazine is fully closed and locked.

Correct Staple Positioning

Ensure staples are positioned correctly in the magazine for proper firing:

Operating Instructions

Adjusting Stapling Depth / Force

The stapling force can be adjusted to suit different materials and staple lengths:

• Lower Power / Shallower Depth: Turn the Force Adjustment Knob counter-clockwise for less driving force, suitable for softer materials or when a shallower staple depth is desired.
• Higher Power / Greater Depth: Turn the Force Adjustment Knob clockwise for more driving force, suitable for harder materials or when a deeper staple depth is required.

Firing the Staple Gun

1. Unlock the Handle: If the handle is locked, release the Handle Lock mechanism.
2. Position the Tool: Place the nose of the staple gun firmly against the material you wish to staple. Ensure the tool is perpendicular to the surface for best results.
3. Apply Pressure: Apply firm, even pressure to the handle to depress it. This will drive a staple into the material.
4. Release and Repeat: Release the handle to prepare for the next staple.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Keep the staple gun clean and free of dust and debris. Use a dry cloth to wipe down the exterior.
• Lubrication: Periodically apply a small amount of light machine oil to moving parts, such as the handle pivot points and the magazine mechanism, to ensure smooth operation.
• Storage: Store the staple gun in a dry, safe place, out of reach of children. Ensure the handle is locked and the magazine is empty before storage.

Troubleshooting

Clearing Jammed Staples

If a staple jams, follow these steps to clear it safely:

1. Step 1: Unlock and Open Magazine. Press the Release Latch and pull the loading rod out to open the magazine.
2. Step 2: Remove Jammed Staple. Carefully remove any jammed staples from the staple exit area or the magazine. You may use the included staple remover or pliers if necessary.
3. Step 3: Reassemble. Reinsert the loading rod and close the magazine securely.
